Sasha had made the finishing touches on the Great Hall for a tradition that had happened at Hogwarts since probably the magical school had began. Tonight was a night of celebration for students and teachers alike. The students were headed home tomorrow from hopefully another great year. The teachers would remind until the end of next week grading the O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s.
She had to smile as she remembered back on all that happened this term. Her and Tarik's marriage, their twins Michaki and Silvia's return and most importantly no Daniel Marsden to causes problems. The Echelon was a problem but it's days were numbered. The only thing that could dampen her mood would be if those that set fire to the Forbidden Forest decided to pay another visit. Smiling, she realized that it was a problems like this that the Caretakers were created for. It had been the disappearance of the minister Fox that had brought the group all back together. The new problems including Headmistress Flara's disappearance that kept them here. They had come together with T.O.E to deal with things. Remembering the shocked looks on several of her fellow T.O.E members faces when those that belonged to both groups revealed that fact.
Looking over at Tarik, she frowned as Sasha realized that she still had kept it from him. Smiling as he asked what was wrong.
The Deputy Headmistress just squeezed his hand and said, “Worried about an attack tonight.”
Tarik just smiled as he shook his head.
The only other thing that worried Sasha was what the Ministry was going to do about Flara's disappearance. Sasha had made it clear that becoming Headmistress was not something she was ready for. In her mind, that appointment would tie her hands. As Deputy Headmistress, Sasha took charge without having to stay in the office.
Coming out of her thoughts as Tarik said, “Sasha, it's time!”
Noticing all the students in attendance, Sasha smiled as she went to the mike. As the noise died down, she said with a chuckle, “Okay, I promise to keep this short. We had a great year and so the staff went all out with tonight's event. You students understand the rules for The Grand Ball so without further ado, give it up for Wyrd Sisters!”
With that the curtain opened as Tarik lead his wife to the dance floor as he said, “Tonight my love, you are just Sasha McChey Sadaki! Let Brennan's people handle everything else.”
