Ravenclaw Table (Ravenclaws Only!)
(OOC: Combined threads from the previous site)
Sasha McChey
All students wise beyond their years post at this table. The house of Knowledge, Ravenclaw. If you are a first year please post in the Sorting Ceremony thread before posting here.
Anna Parsons
Anna entered the Great Hall. She could not believe it had been two years since she had been sorted into Ravenclaw. She would remember that day forever. She saw her friends all entering with her. Anna sat down at the Ravenclaw table in which she had first sat at two years ago, right after she had been sorted.
She was one of the first students to sit down at her table. Many people that she had recognized from her house sat down near her, and they started sharing summer stories. Her summer had been very normal... muggle activities with her non-wizard family. She had went to the U.S.A. and visited a beach, which was a great adventure. Anna was glad to be back at Hogwarts. When she was at muggle-school, she dreaded the summer ending, but Hogwarts was very different.
She continued chatting with her friends about their summer's. Finally, the first years started entering. They looked very nervous and excited at the same time. Anna remembered having that feeling two years ago, when she was a first year. Now, she was finally at third year.
Silvia Sadaki
It was Silvia’s second year and she was very excited. Some of last year was a blur because there had been so many changes in her life. She and her twin-brother Mika had been brought from the orphanage to the school and found out they had magical abilities which could be trained. They had also found out Professor Tarik Sadiki, the History of Runes Professor and Sasha McChey, the Deputy headmistress were their parents. It seems their existence had even been kept from these two people.
Silvia and Mika had spent the summer getting to know their parents and their sister-in-law Professor Flo Richards. Marshall, her son and Silvia and Mika’s nephew, even though he was one year older than them, had grown up with them at the orphanage. Mika and Marshall had become fast friends during that time, so it was just natural they were also fast friends at the school.
Silvia loved being able to say hello to the friends she had made the year before, both her age and older than her. Everyone was so friendly at the Ravenclaw Table. She only had one worry this year to start with, her twin brother and Marshall were missing. The three of them had spent the last three days before classes started, at the school with her father and mother. The two boys had decided to have one last look around before they would have to be in their dorms by a certain time. They had told Silvia they would be back in plenty of time before the opening ceremonies began.
Silvia had waited until the last possible moment, and then gone looking for some other members of the Core, hopefully some of the older ones. She had run into the group, as they waited to enter the Great Hall, and told them about Mika and Marshall. Tia had been really mad and in a few choice words said what she planned on doing when they were found. Silvia knew Tia would not hurt the boys, but she still cringed a little.
Silvia and Starling had been left as lookout while the others had been directed to different parts of the castle and grounds to search. Starling could use her signal coin if the boys returned to let the others know. At the moment Silvia sat watching the main doors and alternating with looks to Starling. She saw the professors had started to arrive. Almost all the seats were filled at the Staff Table. When Professor Spellman entered and went straight to talk with Professor Greene, and then Professor Greene had caught Starlings glance, Silvia’s stomach did a flip-flop. The instructors were realizing some of the students were missing. As Horus, her father’s falcon, flew out of the Great Hall, Silvia looked down at the table. They were in for it now.
When Silvia looked up again, she saw Professor Spellman, standing behind Starling. She tried to signal but she was too late. Professor Spellman tapped Starling on the shoulder than motioned for her to follow him, to a corner behind the Staff Table. It seemed like forever before they immerged and Starling took her seat. She looked very sad, and Silvia realized she had been made to tell them about everyone who was not at the ceremonies.
Silvia took a deep breath and turned to some of the others to try and catch up on the conversations. She would worry later what their punishment would be. It would not be the first time her twin had gotten her into trouble and punished. The heavy wood doors opened and the first years started to file in. Silvia was mad and worried her brother had missed the opening ceremony. She hoped he would be found soon. Right now she had to pay attention to who was being sorted so she could welcome any new members to the Ravenclaw Table.
