Making Friends (Unfinished
Lily Shay
Lily entered the library after her classes had ended for the evening. She headed to the library after dinner to do her homework. But that wasn't the only reason why she was there. She also wanted to do research on the deaths of her parents. Which only happened what it seemed now a year ago. Lily sighed as she sat down and began her Charms Transfiguration Homework. It was still surprising to her that Professor Halliwell was Miley's aunt. She thought that Miley's only aunt was the one that worked in the Quibbler. But apparently this one was working on an important case that took nearly 14 years to do. Lily wondered what was so important to leave a family for nearly half of her life? She couldn't even begin to think what would happened if it happened to her.
Lily looked at the question on her homework and frowned as she read it before working
Give a short paragraph on what are Gamp's Laws of Transfiguration in your own words.
Lily began to think. What were Gamp's Laws? She knew they were taught to her last year in Transfiguration. But she didn't remember. Lily groaned. Maybe she was too depressed about her parents dying to think about the lesson. She mentally hit herself reminding herself that she didn't have her book on her. Maybe there was one in the Library she could look at for information. Lily grabbed her homework and put it in her bag and headed over to the other section of the library and began to search for the book. As she was looking she saw a red head girl in other section of the shelf reading. She frowned. She had seen her before in the hallways and had seen her in class. She looked lonely. Did she have any friends? Lily looked at the girl's robe and saw the Ravenclaw emblem. I could use a break from my homework. I think I should go and introduce myself to her. Lily thought as she put the book back she was holding on the shelf and headed towards the other side and smiled at the girl. "Hello, my name's Lily Shay, what's your name?" She asked the girl politely.

Merida Jennings
Merida sat on her chair in the library. She had finished her homework almost an hour ago and she was now reading a new book. It was about a wizards and witches living in a post apocalyptic world and they are put to a challenge by fighting to the death with Muggles on Television. She had been reading this book ever since school started and planned to read the other books in the process. In fact she planned to read a lot this year while she still planned to do some stuff around Hogwarts like Homework and other things liked that. But still...she missed her friend Christine and wondered if she was alright at the Orphanage.
Christine I sure miss you. It's not the same being at Hogwarts without you here. Merida thought to herself as she continued to read her book.
Merida nearly jumped in her seat as she looked up the girl who looked at her. She looked shocked that someone was actually talking to her. She looked at the girl and saw she had red hair like her. Except hers was long and curly. And she had blue eyes not green. Merida wondered why the girl who was obviously a Slytherin and paged her book, looked at her and smiled.
"Merida, Merida Jennings. Nice to meet you Lily." She said looking at the girl. "What are you doing all the way this part of the Library? Lost?" She asked looking at her before mentally slapping herself. Great...way to make a first impression Jennings. Merida thought to herself as she looked at the girl.
Luke (Seth) Wright
Luke had been in the library for awhile now without seeing any of the other Core members. It was just as well as the reason he was there had nothing to do with Core business and everything to do with Ash, his twin.
Sitting in his usual out of the way spot, the Ravenclaw pulled out the picture. Saying as if to his sister, “Oh Ash, how I miss you? I still don't know how this recent picture of you got into my hands but I am glad you seemed unharmed by what has happened. Don't worry I have every intention of getting you out of there and then making Shadow pay!”
Turning the picture of an unmarked Ash, Luke read the note again.
“Luke,
Sorry you might be scared of how you got this. I can't have you remember seeing me, yet. Don't worry, you just delivered a message in return. As you can see your twin Ash is still unmarked and physically unharmed. She is no longer in The Shadow's care but I am sorry to say can't be released yet. Ash is safe for the most part but misses her books. I have assured her that she can have them. Get them for her as studies are very Important. Luke Tell No One or I Might Not Be Able To Insure Her Safety! I Will Be In Touch About Delivery!
Protector
P.S. Tell The Princess I Said Hi and Well Done! Don't worry she will understand. Luke, it might be best to stop looking!”
Luke shook as he feared what he might have done to receive assurance that his twin was out of Shadow's hands and would remain so. Saying a little aloud, “Who are you Protector and how do you know Tia? As for me stopping the search for Ashley, Never!”
Now all he had to do was get Ash's school bag. The problem with that was it was in the Restricted Section. He was so busy thinking of a way to retrieve the bag that he was unaware he had been watched and overheard
Lily Shey
Lily cracked a grin at her and then she smiled as she chuckled. "No actually, I was just looking for a book on Transfiguration and I saw you here alone." Lily told her. "I was wondering if you were alright." She said honestly.

As Lily was waiting to hear a reply from the Ravenclaw girl. Lily heard the voice and looked a little shocked. She thought she and Merida was the only ones all the way over here. She looked for the source and saw Seth Wright. She smiled as she looked at Merida and then at Seth. "Luke! Luke!" Lily called out to her fellow Core member and friend. Though she had hoped it wasn't too loud that it'll have her thrown out by the librarian. Lily frowned as she remembered him saying something about Ash. Arianna Sadiki
It had been a very long day but the Library would only be open for another two hours, then she could go back to her rooms. Of course paperwork from the school, Caretaker reports, correspondence and some other projects were waiting in a nice neat pile on her personal desk but she could take her shoes off and get comfortable.
At the moment she had some books to put away. Working her way to the back part of the Library which was not generally used, she filed a few of the books. Voices drew her attention to a spot two isles over. She stopped and listened. Apparently there were two young ladies. As she listened she heard a young man’s voice also. Walking around the corner of the isle she had been working on she saw Luke Wright sitting in his usual spot looking at a picture. Over the years she had been able to hone her hearing to be able to pick up sounds most others could not hear.
Arianna had not been able to pick out all the words, but she caught the name Ash, which had to be Luke’s missing twin sister and Shadow. That was not a very good combination.
She started to walk toward him when she was stopped in her tracks by the name “protector”. Arianna’s heart squeezed, could Luke know where the “Protector” was, where her boy was, a child which had been stolen from her when he was five years old. All Arianna had been able to discover was he had been given the code name “protector” by a dark wizard. At that point she had lost the trail.
Arianna could see Luke but from the angle she was at from him, he could not see her and the girls would not know she was there either. Slowly she walked completely around the corner and looked at the picture in Luke’s hand. He was reading something on the back. Before she could get a glimpse at it, he turned the picture back over, because Lily had called his name.
Realizing he probably had seen her by now, she continued to walk so she was on the same isle as the two girls. Lily Shay and Merida Jennings were near the other end of the stacks close to the window which ended every lane. “Hello girls can I help anyone with anything?” She did not want to get mad at Lily’s loud voice because normally the girl was very shy although she was slowly coming out of the shell she had built when her parents had died, “Lily, sweetheart, you need to speak just a little bit quieter, ok?” she said adding a smile.
Turning to Luke she said, “Glad to see you are here also Luke, could you stop by tomorrow morning sometime, in one of your unscheduled time periods? I have something I need to talk with you about. Oh and can you please tell Starling I found the book she was looking for on Ancient Gaelic. I put it in desk she sits at in the small alcove she likes to sit in back near the locked doors to the Forbidden Section. I have one other book in mind also but she will have to go into the Forbidden Section to read it and she will not be able to remove it from there As you know you have to have written permission to enter there.”
“If anyone needs anything I will be at my desk. The Library will be closing in about an hour.” With that being said Arianna turned and walked back to her desk at the front of the Library, there was only a little over an hour to go, before she gave last call for checking out books and leaving.
(OOC: Starlings spot in the library where she almost always sits: “Now she was headed for the one place she could feel at peace, the Library. It was the first place she had located during the first break of the day [in her first year]. In that short period of time she also had found a special spot to sit in. It was a small alcove formed by a pillar which did not quite touch the wall. Two very large iron-gated doors were only a small distance away from the desk. There was a large window with stained glass around its edges to supply light. Its sill was very deep. A large dusty old wooden writing desk with a slanted lid, a wooden bench with a slatted back which was so high Stars feet did not touch the floor when she sat on it. and a small lamp were the only things in the space. Merida Jennings
Merida smiled at Lily. "Yeah, I'm alright." She told the fourth year. "I had finished my homework a while ago and I decided to finish this book I'm reading." She told the girl.
Merida shook her head at Professor Sadiki. "No Professor, I'm good." She told her smiling at the Professor.
An hour? Had it really been that long? Merida thought to herself and then decided it was time for her to go. Maybe she could talk to her about possibly finding a book about her family. But then she realized it might take a little over an hour to find the book. If it's possible...Merida shook her head in disbelief. It was impossible...there wasn't even a chance her parents were magical. But she couldn't hurt to try and look.
"Well I think we better head to our Common Rooms now." Merida said placing a bookmark in her book and then put it in her bag and got up. "I guess I'll see you in the halls sometime?" She asked Lily smiling at her.
Stella Russo
Stella mentally wanted to hit herself as she rushed into the library. She had forgotten that she wanted to get a book for Muggle Studies homework. She wished she grew up born as a Muggle than living with her no good family. Ugh she wondered what it would've been like. Well as far as she knew she would've preferred it better than being with her stupid parents. She headed towards the front desk hoping that the librarian was there. As soon as she reached the front desk she frowned realizing that she wasn't there.
Stella shot up at that realizing that that was the librarians voice. She groaned realizing she only had an hour to find the book and get out. Great. Just great. Way to blow it until the last minute Russo. Stella thought to herself mentally hitting herself. She then turned to the back of the library in hopes of finding the librarian before the Library closed. As soon as she caught a glimpse of not only the librarian she also saw Lily, and Luke and also some Ravenclaw girl with them. She sighed in relief. Maybe there was still hope for her. Her hopes were soon crushed as soon as she saw the Librarian take her leave. Stella groaned thinking about turning back now. But decided against it and figured she come early before breakfast and did her homework. She then walked over to Lily and grinned at her.
"Hey Shay, haven't seen you in a while, how are you?" Stella asked grinning at her friend and then she turned to Luke and smiled at him. Then she turned to the girl next to Lily and gasped seeing her. The girl was around her age, had long red hair but the face. It looked exactly like hers. What did this mean? Stella wondered to herself. Did she have a sister she didn't know about? Or what? She cleared her throat and smiled at the girl. "Hi, haven't seen you before. My name's Stelladora Stella Russo. But call me Stelladora and you'll regret it." She said grinning. That was the line she used on everybody. Most of her friends didn't care if she said it like that. They knew her well enough by now. She just hoped that this girl was okay with this response and wasn't scared by the response or her family's reputation.
LUKE
Luke hurriedly turned the picture side up as he said, “Hey Lily, Merida. What are you girls doing?”
Then to Lily he said, “Lily, do you know if Tia is calling a meeting for tomorrow?” Glancing quickly at the picture, as he finished, “Cause I might not be able to attend?” He had no clue when the Protector would set up the delivery, so he was unsure about his schedule.
Luke smiled as he said, “Merida, you will find that at Hogwarts some of the adults prefer you call them by their first name. Arianna is like her brother the Runes Professor. The first time I saw Tarik, I called him Professor and was asked kindly just to call him Tarik. Don't worry you will get use to it. My name is Seth Lucas Wright, but everybody just calls me Luke. If you are wondering how I know your name it is because I am one of the welcoming committee for Ravenclaw house. That way we learn who might need help and do our best to be that help, right Lily?”
Luke tried to smile as he said, “Not problem Arianna. I can tell Star about her book.” He worried about what Arianna wanted to talk about. Sticking the photo in his back pocket as he stood up. If it has to do with this picture or Ash, he made it clear that was not a real good idea. I will just have to think of something as I hate lying but my sister Ash… He was brought out of his thoughts by Arianna's next words.
Now all he had to do was get Ash's school bag. The problem with that was it was in the Restricted Section. He was so busy thinking of a way to retrieve the bag that he was unaware he had been watched and overheard./

“If anyone needs anything I will be at my desk. The Library will be closing in about an hour.” With that being said Arianna turned and walked back to her desk at the front of the Library, there was only a little over an hour to go, before she gave last call for checking out books and leaving.
Luke smiled as he realized that maybe Arianna Sadiki would get the bag for him.
He chuckled as he said, “Hey Stella, can't you figure out a better introduction? You would not hurt a fly and we all know it! You seen Tia, or should I just find Landon? At least Jackson can't try to get between them, now that he graduated, right?” The look on Stella's face told Luke that he missed something.
Keilee Ortize
There were a lot of things Keilee needed to know about the world she was in now. Everything was so new to her that sometimes she couldn't help herself looking like a fool when she saw something amazing and enchanting. She couldn't help staring. So she figured that there was a solution for that. It was to start learning, really learn. And she thought that the best way to start that was go in the library where she could find good book to read. That was why as soon as her classes was finished, she run to the library. Also, there was nothing to do anyway and nobody to talk to, too.
She found a good spot in the library where she could be sure that she wouldn't be disturbed or wouldn't disturbed anyone. Her place was not easily seen, too. A lot of book were on the table that would probably block her from sight, that was easy since she was not that tall and big.
She scribble any important information on her notepad. She tried looking for the history of Hogwarts, information about the witches and wizards and how Muggles (she was now use to using this word) had no idea they exist. She also tried researching about the classes here. She really got interested on her Care of Magical Creatures. That was one of the things that truly fascinates her. There were a lot of magical creatures, some she was able to see and some she didn't have any idea if they exist or where they exist. That reminded her that she didn't have a book about Magical Creatures.
She stood up and went to the desk of the librarian which she found out empty. She tried looking for the book for herself along the book aisles. She was on the third aisle when she heard people talking. She didn't want to disturbed them so she kept on walking while looking up still trying to look for the book. She stopped when she noticed a book that has the word Creatures on the title. She couldn't read the complete title because it was a bit far. She decided to try climbing on the shelves, just one step, if she could reach it. She stretched her right hand. Just a little more and she could get it. And then...
"BAAAAAAAAGGGGGG!!!!!!" She found herself butt-flat on the floor with some books on her lap and a few scattered around her. She found her hand touching the top of her head. A book probably fell on it since it was throbbing a little. She was too focus on herself oblivious to the noise she did.
ARIANNA
Arianna turned and headed down another isle. "Are you alright." Keilee Ortize was sitting on the floor with books piled around her. "Come on let's get you up and the books picked up."
"You're welcome." As they started to pick up the books, Stella, Merida and Luke showed up and started helping. It didn't take long to get all of the volumes put away on the shelves. "Ok, now all of you make sure your own areas you were working in are cleared, then you can leave." Arianna looked at her watch. "You have twenty-five minutes before I lock the doors." All the students nodded. "Keilee I think this is a book you may like to read." Arianna knew the girl was new to the Magical world, so she gave her a book about Hogwarts and the Magical world in general. "Bring it back when you are done and I will help you find something else."
"Luke can you stay for a few moments please?"
The rest of the students left and Luke remained standing very still.

Luke smiled as he realized that maybe Arianna Sadiki would get the bag for him.
She cleared her throat and smiled at the girl. "Hi, haven't seen you before. My name's Stelladora Stella Russo. But call me Stelladora and you'll regret it." She said grinning.
