Wands In The Making (Unfinished)
(Hogsmeade, Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, 2013
(Darik, Tia, Lance, Tarik, Invite)
Darik HouseElf
When Darik had seen the signal from Mistress Tia’s wand he had made arrangements to visit Julius the Head of the Minotaur’s in the Forbidden Forest, so they could start the next level of the Princess’ life and also to double-check all the precautions were in place.
He stood in the middle of the Egyptian Decorated Tea Room, one of three in Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shoppe used for meetings, checking to make sure everything was perfect for his meeting with the Princess. He had received an Owl about two hours earlier asking for an audience, to which he had returned an Owl immediately. This day had been long in coming and now that it was here, Darik was excited and nervous. What if they had missed checking something? What if they had not followed the ancient laws correctly? What if they had missed a step? The questions could go on forever.
He looked at the ceremonial table set out. There were two hand-carved “Ever Live Tree” bark boxes on it, candles of thankfulness, dates, chips from the “Ever Live Tree” and a small open bowl, with pure rose oil from the Black Rose Garden. Darik had dug deep in his personal treasure chest for the Gold cloth laid over everything on the table. It was a cloth made many, many, human generations ago, and was the only one used in the Ceremony of Presentation. He wanted everything to be perfect.
When Tia had received her rights, then Master Tarik would be requested to come and the ceremony would conclude with the final presentation.
Darik made one more check of the locks and blockers in the room and left. Checking carefully the door was completely vapor locked, he headed out into the main dining room to continue his duties until the Princess and her escort arrived.
