Shrieking Shack
DAMIR
Damir paced in the small dirty kitchen of the shack. The boy was late. He had thought the last punishment he had handed out would have cured the boy from not listening to him. Damir checked the coiled whip fastened to his side. This time maybe he would have to add a few more stokes, a little harder. The boy had to learn.
With any luck his nephew would be bringing Luke back. That boy was going to be a treasure when he was fully trained. He was intellectually smart. He cared deeply about several people which made him the perfect target for blackmail. That little group of kids who called themselves the Core, could possibly come right into his hands and his control. It would give him power to ask for what he wanted, which was more power.
Damir stopped in his tracks as he listened. There wasn't a physical sound, but he could hear Liam in his head. It sounded like the boy was getting close. Damir pressed himself up against the wall behind where the door would open from the passageway. He fingered his whip and smiled.
MARCO
Marco and Fixer walked a little ahead of Richard. This was to make the traitor Damir believe that Liam had indeed been able to activate Richard easily. Marco had blanked his mind before they had gotten even into the garden area. He smiled as his eyes scanned the grounds and saw only Liam and Alex as the two entered the secret entrance in the tree.
When they reach the other end of the tunnel, Marco barely saw a shoe under the crack of the door leading to the kitchen. He pointed it out to Fixer and Richard. He shook his head as his act began, "Luke, you here?"
He and Fixer followed Richard into the kitchen. "I told you that Liam kid was sending us on a wild goose chase. Luke would not come here. If he is not somewhere in this shack, I am going to have that Liam kid in detention by the end of the day."
Three feet into the kitchen, Marco heard from behind, "Soluamenasium". Within seconds a red saber blade was inches from his throat. He heard Liam say with a sly chuckle, "Told you Shadow Hunter, the fools would check here."
Alex added his chuckle trying to play the part. "Well before you step any farther into the room , why don't you lose your toys? We would not want to have you accidental lose your heads..."
Marco's spare wand in his hand within seconds. He was not about to let the traitor of the PACT have his favorite wand, so he had brought his spare. Fixer had raised his hands in the air. Richard stood off to the side, playing the perfect patsy and traitor. Rub'ik stood in the passageway, watching through the crack in the door.
DAMIR
"Very well done boys. Liam I didn't know you had it in you." Damir said as he walked out of the shadowy corner and into the light. "Hands behind your backs." He watched as Marco Spellman and Frank Cole followed his orders. Again both men cooperated. This sent a small chill down Damir's spin, as he watched Alex tie the men's hands behind their backs.
Something was telling him this was all going too smoothly, but he couldn't pin point the reason. Glancing at Richard Greene he found the man staring at Liam as if he was waiting for the boy to tell him what to do next. Liam was being a real surprise in all of this. "Take them upstairs and put them on their knees in the music room." Damir chuckled to himself. The only reason he called it the music room was because there was an old falling apart piano in one corner of the dirty dusting cobwebbed room.
It took every bit of his control for Cole to do what he was being told. It was the only way to find out Damir's orders though. He stepped up the creaking steps just ahead of Marco. When they reached the second story landing, Cole took the three steps which placed them in a room, with broken shutters on the one window which barely let in light.
"On your knees, scum." Liam was playing his part well. Cole felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Richard pretending to push him hard to the floor. Marco sank next to him. Within a moment, Damir appeared in front of them. The man grabbed a hunk of Cole's and Marco's hair and forced their head back. "It is so nice you gentlemen have decided to come and visit me. I'm thinking of taking you home with me and introduce you around. Would you like that?"
Damir didn't wait for an answer. He looked at Richard and said, "I want you to use your fist on them and hurt them bad, slave."
Richard didn't move. He shook his head, but Liam walked up in front of him and said, "Do it."
Richard lowered his head and walked to in front of Marco and Cole. With apologies in his eyes, he struck out and kept striking until both Cole and Marco were on the ground. Adding a couple of kicks, which he pulled back from, he made it look like he was following orders. He stopped and turned to look at Liam. The idea was to play it up to make it look like Liam was controlling him.
LIAM
Liam had not expected his uncle to have appeared as he did. Inside the 5th year Gryffindor had wanted to flee from the shack. He mind raced as he watched Professor Greene. He felt Alex's free hand on his shoulder and heard, "I have to admit Liam, your plan worked. Now shut your saber off and take the Professor back to the school. I will join you shortly."
Liam glanced nervously as he thought, "DE-RE-TOLL" He watched as his wand ceased to be a light saber. He wondered as he was about to pocket his wand as to the red color. When he had envisioned it in his head, Liam had thought it would be black. He had especially been shocked that it had even worked.
Alex was hooded and so his uncle could not see the worry in his face. His cousin Liam's fear was a major concern. He had to get Liam away from the shack before Liam's fear betrayed them all. He knew that Liam had seen Damir's whip. The boy's mind had began reliving his punishment and Alex knew it would not take much for Liam to fall apart and tell Damir everything.
Marco Spellman stared at Damir and started to fight his bonds, "You, I remember..." Before he could finish, Alex pressed his own spare wand into his neck saying, "Cou d'pointe"
COLE
Cole began to fight his own bonds. He knew there was going to be pain involved, but he was hoping the boys would not have to be the ones who doled it out. He could feel Alex's regret and even fear at having to hurt any of them. He needed to get Damir focused on something else. "So what do you want traitor." Cole had an idea Damir might be the leak in the PACT group he and his friends had formed in college to try and right some of the wrongs of the wizarding world. Damir had actually been his roommate. They had been friends, although Cole had been closer to Damir's twin brother, who was Liam's real father although the boy did not know it. "You're not going to get anything out of us."
Damir walked over and stood in front of Cole. "Ah but Frankie, I don't need to get anything out of you. All I have to do is deliver you to the island and collect my reward." Damir glanced at Liam when the boy gasped. Turning back to his onetime roommate he continued, "You see you and Marco here have a price on your heads."
Damir walked over to Richard and put a hand on his shoulder. Richard kept staring at Liam. "Richard here is turning into a real jewel. I think I will be able to use him to bring some of the younger ones into my hands. They can be trained and then fed back into the system."
It took all of Richards will power not to jerk and turn to beat the man to a pulp. He concentrated on Liam which helped him school his face.
Alex had suggested that Liam take Greene back to the school. Again he was torn, something was off. Liam seemed to have the Professor under his control. Greene was looking to the boy for guidance. Having two less people to watch would be good. He still had to get in touch with someone and let the clan know the prizes he had before him. "Liam, I'm going to let you take the professor back to the school. You need to keep an eye on him though. If he gets out of hand, it's your head which will roll and your body which will suffer the punishment. Are we understood in this?" Receiving a nod from the boy. Liam looked at Alex then motioned for Greene to follow him. When they were back in the passage way. Liam's legs almost gave out. If Richard had not caught him he would have gone down.
Rub'ik smiled. "Very good job Master Liam. I am very proud of you. Now both of you return to the school. My brother will be here soon and we will see what else we can learn before we take the human out of the equation."
MARCO
Marco inwardly smiled as he saw Liam leave. The boy was scared and Marco understood why Alex had suggested the boy leave. He worked his bonds as he said with anger he truly felt, “We trusted you Damir! The whole PACT thought of you as one of our mentors. You, Tamir, Cap and William Andreas were the founders of the PACT. That night I really thought...” Marco stopped as he was once again felt the betrayal at seeing the face of the man who had not only held him prisoner but had actually laughed as he was forced to watch unit A shot. Marco was once again struggling to breath as his bonds got too tight.
Alex struggled with his own fears. He was glad his cousin Damir had taken his suggestion concerning Liam and Professor Green. He felt the pain from behind as he went down.
William Rikard’s wand glowed as he looked at the hooded boy. His magic was stronger now. He went and knelt in front of Damir. “They are setting you up Sir. My debt to you and the Clan is repaid! If the clan attacks the school, tell the Alpha I will not be there.” William saw the fury in Marco Spellman.
As William got up and headed for the door, he glanced back at the boy saying, “Don’t Professor Spellman. They helped return my magic. I owed them. That is repaid. Though when I knock the betrayer out, I did not realize he was a kid. For that I am sorry.” He hoped the kid would wake but this war was not his problem. His problem was his friend Brennan Dawson and him both having feelings for the same girl. Now that his magic was back, he was going to get her back.
Marco had watched as William Rikard admitted to knocking Alex out. “You better hope that kid is alright Rikard! If not, you better run!” He fought his bonds now that their ruse was exposed. He could not believe that William Rickard had changed so much. Sasha would feel the betrayal the most but now Marco feared for Liam. His anger got the better of him, “Do you even realize or care what you have done? William, have you really changed that much? That you would betray everything Joseph Witchard taught you! Do you know what thanks to you, two boys are going to face?”
William shook his head as he said fury, “Don’t You Dare Bring Joseph into this! Where were you when he was Murdered!” He did feel regret though. William had his own problems and he had not talked to any about the reason he had jumped at the chance to get his magic restored, which Candance had told him about. It had been two years and many of those he trusted were gone. The nagging thought that he was not totally debt free, hung onto the edge of his mind.
Marco said as he heard William, “Can you really be that lost? Do you really think they will let you walk away? William think!”
William looked at Damir as he asked, “I owed one favor... Damir, the boys might not even be aware that the two men were setting you up. My debt is paid!”
(OCC: For more information on William see An End To His Suffering)
DAMIR
"I'm afraid you are not permitted to leave, William Rikard. I will have to check with the clan to make sure you have fully paid your debt. You are a very valuable person to us now. Colloportus, Expelliarmus" Damir chuckled as William turned and glared at him. The man tried the door again, but it was securely locked. Damir knew William could not do wandless magic. That ability might return to the man, but he was not strong enough yet to use the ability.
"I have paid my debt. Release me now." If William could use wordless magic, Damir would be dead and buried.
Cole cringed. He looked over at Marco, knowing the man saw things had just gotten worse. Their only hope was that Darik and Rub'ik were outside and would prevent them from being taken back to the island. He looked down at Alex, who hadn't moved yet. The boy had taken the hit hard. Cole couldn't help himself when a whispered snicker slipped out between his lips. No matter what anyone told him, he knew William had not turned at least not completely.
Damir pointed to a the bench of the old piano, absently noticing the instrument had been cleaned recently. Looking into the top of it he noticed some new wires had been added. Looked like someone had been fixing it. Interesting. "Sit down William. When I get the chance, I will see what the Alpha's might have in store for you."
Rubik stood outside the door to the room, invisible to everyone except for a slight waver in the air. He hoped his brother would get there soon. He wasn't sure if he should interfere or not in the human's doings.
Cole settled into his chair. It was the only thing he could do at the moment. "So traitor, what do you want from us?"
Damir looked at William and then walked over to stand in front of Cole. Placing the tip of his wand under the man's chin, he leaned in closer. "What I want is to be at home, enjoying myself. Instead I am stuck here doing errands for those with more power than I have at the moment." Glancing at Marco he said, "Marco is going to return to the island with me. He is going to learn how things must be. He is going to work for us or suffer more pain than he ever knew existed. He is also going to help with the indoctrination of some of the wizarding world's finest.
Damir reached out and grabbed Cole's hair, yanking his head back hard. "As for you. I think I will just take you back to the island and have some fun trying out some of the new ways of convincing people to behave. Maybe if you are good I will allow you into the fertility building and let some of the women there use you. You will of course be tied up, but that won't make any difference to them. They have ways of taking what they want." Damir chuckled as he slammed Cole's head forward, so that his chin painfully hit his chest.
Damir walked over to stand in front of Marco. "So Marco, what do you think of my little plan? Won't it be fun to be back on the island? I know of at least three people waiting for your return so they can show you how much you have been missed."

MARCO
Marco shook his head as he said, "And the boys? Damir, what do you plan for Alex and Liam?" He was worried for both but Alex more so as the 15 year old had not moved.
William felt helpless. The wand had flew in to Damir's hand. Without his wand he was as dangerous to Damir as a Muggle. The man wished he had thought of why the Enforcer had chosen to unlock William's magic. He glared at Damir as he said, "My debt is paid. I will do nothing more for the Enforcer, Damir." He looked at the boy he had knocked out and was relieved to see his eyes blink.
Marco looked at Damir as he said, "I have no interest in seeing Matthew or Markus! Just how do you plan on me going with you Damir? Your spy just knocked out Markus' Shadow Hunter!" Marco had to pray he could once again block his siblings. He glared at Captain as he thought about just why he had pleaded with Cap to not fix the Link.
Marco said as he tried to force up his wall over his mind, so his siblings would not be feeling any of the pain or fear he had. "The Clan will learn nothing from me Damir! You are a traitor and the PACT will see you destroyed for your betrayal!"
DARIK
Darik had just arrived outside the door where his brother stood. Silently he asked what was happening. Rubik looked at him and silently said, "Master Marco and Master Frank are tied to chairs. Master William is free but his wand has been taken away from him. Master Alex is lying on the floor. Other than being sore he is alright and is playing like he is still out cold. He won't be able to do it much more though. His body is going to want to move. The human called Damir, apparently an unbitten werewolf, is in charge. I haven't interfered yet."
Darik nodded silently saying, "You stay here. Be ready to take Master Frank, Master Marco, Master Alex and even Master William out of the room if I signal. I know it has been stated, the humans want Master Marco to actually go to the island, but I'm not sure that is the best thing at the moment." Darik silently made his way into the room, knowing if anyone was looking they would be able to see the slight ripple in the air. He made his way over to the corner and stood still. "Master Frank, I am here. It is set up to remove you all if necessary."
COLE
Cole felt when Darik had entered the room. When the elf's voice floated through his mind he had to bite the inside of his mouth to not react. He had to try and get some of the information they needed to stop the attack. "So Damir, what are your plans not?"
Damir chuckled and walked back to lean against the piano. "First this..." The Wizard conjured up a small golden dart and spoke: 'Have the people. Please come.'. Then he pointed with his wand out the window and the dart flew out. "I have just sent for an Alpha. When he gets here, you can explain to him how you can help or I can have some fun with the boy on the floor." Damir had seen the boy move a muscle. "You can get up now boy and join your friends. Either move or I will move your body for you."
