Isle of Perdition
Island:
35 square miles (7 miles by 5 miles) running east and west. A mountain on east end from a volcano which had collapsed tens of thousands of years ago, extends almost to the 50 ft to 100 ft wide ribbon of beach which runs around the whole island. A plateau has formed at the top of the volcano. The mountain has trees growing three-quarters of the way to the top and many caves. The caves are inter-connected by a maze of tunnels some with steep drop-offs of the floors. There are also several sea caves, which at times, completely fill with water.
Most of the island has thick to sparse vegetation made up of trees, both fruit and flowering, and thick underbrush. There are many paths, which have been carved out over the centuries.
Cleared areas include, the main compound on the south side of the island, about a half mile from the coast, a training area about a mile away from the main compound toward the north, an area around a natural lagoon on the north side of the island, a small cleared area between the lagoon and the mountain containing he ruins of a medieval castle and on the west end of the island is a marshy area covering roughly a square mile of land.
