Frank Cole Returns
(combined threads from previous site)
(OOC: Continuation of Everywhere Else, Everyone Goes Home (Mathew's Castle))
COLE
Frank tested the bonds on his hands and feet. He was tied to a hospital bed. He knew he was on an island which everyone was saying was his. Well if it was his island why was everyone doing everything but paying attention to what he was ordering? He turned his head to the side and noticed three elves sitting on Air chairs near the front wall of the room just to the left of a very large screen and shelf console. Raising his eyes over his head he found another elf standing at the head of the flat bed, with his hands about six inches over his head, fingers spread. None of them had said a word yet.
Cole was trying to be patient. Lord Damir had said if he was ever captured by the people who had brain washed him before, he was to pretend he was part of their group and then get in touch with Lord Damir as soon as possible. He would be rescued his master had promised him. It was hard though. There was a very strong familiarity about the room he was in. His brain was giving him flashes of other places. It was telling him he was on a secured island and he was safe. But he knew he was not safe. These beings and the people would try and convince him that Lord Damir wasn't his true Master. He had to fight those thoughts, but all it did was give him pain.
He jumped when the door located on the wall, about eight feet from his feet, opened.
Punta looked up and smiled. "Master Maxwell. Master Frank is awake and resting. He is trying to pretend he is relaxed. If you wish me to remove my hands I will." Punta was basically keeping Master Frank from shaking and moving around, using his Elvin Blood Magic connected to what was running through Master Frank's veins.
MAXWELL
Maxwell had gotten a message from Martin that he was needed to deal once again with Frank Cole. The man as well as several others had been finally freed thanks to Tal'mac and the young man to his right.
The tech watched Marco lead them all towards the Hospital Wing saying, "The children will be placed in the care of Lance then I will join you and Leon on Fixer's island. After I give the Headmistress a full report."
Max nodded as he lead Leon toward the secret port key that Gloria had set up in Max's office. "I hate going in blind but I guess I will be informed once I am on the island."
He looked at Richard as his hand reached Gloria's picture, "Lock Hogwarts Down! Those returning are Code Red until further ..." The next moment he was handing the photo back to Gloria Kildare, on an island that he recognized as the Isle of Perdition, Frank Cole's home base. Gloria didn't say a word for him but motioned toward the large barracks about fifty yards away from the platform they had landed on. Max had no choice but to follow the two guards in front of him. Gloria apparently was not going to talk.
Max entered the room and heard Punta ask about removing his hands. The Psyche-healer shook his head, "No my friend. Martin only gave very little info so do what you five can to help. Leon and I will be at the table. Gloria, Jack and Tom know Gatherer's orders concerning himself being Code Red so until somebody can brief me, I will observe for now. Though I have at least one man still missing and one man, four children all classified Code Red at the hospital wing. Any news on Brennan? I really hate flying blind."
TAL'MAC
Tal'mac walked into the room. The five elves who had been assigned to his human blood brother ringed the bed. Maxwell Sinclair, Jack Jennings and Gloria Kildare stood off to the side. Frank Cole was on the bed his hands tied to the side rails and his feet to the bottom of the bed. Tal'mac turned to Max. "All your questions will be answered soon my friend. At the moment all are safe and we must concentrate on getting Master Frank back to us."
Tal'mac turned back toward the bed and walked slowly closer. Tal'mac was Grand Sire over all of the five Elvin Clans, but each of the other elves who stood around the bed were prince's in their own right. Each had the ability to assist in the Circle of Light. Tal'mac stood at Master Frank's shoulders and said, "It is time to bring our friend home." There was real fear and panic in Master Frank's eyes as he stared up at Tal'mac and shook his head. Tal'mac smiled. "It is alright my friend, I know you are scared and think we are going to harm you, but I promise you we are not. Soon you will understand." Master Frank started to shake as Tal'mac put one hand over his forehead, allowing only an inch between their skin, and place the other hand over his blood-brothers heart.
PUNTA
Punta was glad when Grand Sire Tal'mac entered the room. He knew they could do the Circle of Light without the wise Grand Sire, they had done it once before, but Master Frank had been taken deep to the dark side. Punta was not sure even the five of them could bring the young master back, without doing harm to the delicate human psyche. When Tal'mac stepped close to the bed, Punta relinquished his hold on Master Frank's thoughts and took a step backward. He looked at the other elves and saw they too were starting to prepare for the Circle. All of their heads were bowed and they were drawing all the energy within themselves to their minds. Punta bowed his own head and started to concentrate.
Punta extended his arms fully out to the side and then moved them toward Kimtu on his left and Tarka on his right. He held his palms facing outward. Kimtu held his arms the same way, right palm towards Punta and left palm toward Artkee. Artkee's palms were held out to Kimtu on his right and across the bed toward Mecum. Mecum extended his palm toward Artkee across the bed and Tarka who stood to his left. The circle was complete. The heat of the light which started to extend from each palm to each palm was manageable for now, but intense. Grand Sire Tal'mac would control the intensity. It was their job to not let the circle break. It was going to take all of their training to not let the circle collapse.
COLE
Frank Cole was scared. Master Damir had told him if he was captured by others from the life he used to lead, they would try anything to get him to turn from the truth only Master Damir knew. He didn't know if he was strong enough to fight. He was tied down and couldn't move more than a couple of inches. He had six elves standing around him getting ready to do some type of ceremony. "Please just let me go. I promise not to tell anyone about this place. Please let me go back to my Master."
The Elf who appeared to be in charge was calling him his friend. Master Damir had said no elf could be his friend, because they were inept and worthless beings, trying to establish the world as theirs.
Cole looked around when the elves started to extend their hands out. He looked down at his chest and up to his forehead. He could feel someone trying to get into his head. It didn't hurt but there was a definite pressure which was gradually becoming more intense. Cole tried to move his head back and forth to try and break the connection, but the pressure just kept growing. He heard the elves around the bed start a slow melodic chant. He couldn't understand the words, but for some reason his whole being was being drawn to the words as if they were tangible ropes pulling him toward them.
He heard screams and although deep down he knew they were coming from him, they sounded far away. Pictures floated through his brain. Smiling and laughing children, shaking hands with men and women, who he knew but couldn't remember their names. There were men in uniform standing around and laughing. He heard several of them say "Yes Sir" in his direction. He saw children being dragged by men; women and other men being beaten; dogs biting and slashing at people of all ages. He started to smile when he saw Lord Damir walking toward him. But the smile turned into a scream, when he saw Lord Damir, take out a whip and start to whip a child and a man. Lord Damir looked at him and laughed.
Cole shook his head hard. "No," he screamed. "Please stop. I... " His throat closed up and no sound came out. Cole looked up into the Elf's eyes who was closest to him. "Tal'mac? Help please." He had no idea why he was asking for the creatures help, or what kind of help he was even asking for, but he knew it was imperative he get it.
TAL'MAC
Tal'mac focused on the hand inches above Master Frank's forehead. He mentally pushed farther into the human's brain. He threw pictures of them talking, of the times they just sat and talked. He didn't focus on what words were said because he had to keep the slide show moving fast. Master Frank's brain would automatically fill in the blanks at lightning speed.
Tal'mac moved the hand over Cole's heart to the one side of his head. Then he rotated his other hand to the other side. Slowly he put his thumbs and forefingers together, spread his fingers and started a slow travel down Cole's body. He was at the cellular level at the moment and he had to clear all of the bad one's out that had been manufactured by the drugs and thoughts the machine had made. Tal'mac knew he would not have been able to do this so quickly without the other's there. They were giving him the energy to concentrate on each part of Cole's body without having to worry about what the human's mind was trying to block out.
Tal'mac reached Cole's knees and then started back up again. When he reached his heart he laid his hands on the human's chest. Only the thin T-shirt Cole wore was between them. Tal'mac started to chant with the others. He let the solid energy curse through his body and into the human's body. When Cole bucked twice under his hands he removed them and put them to his side. He nodded at the others and allowed them to break the circle.
Tal'mac looked into Master Frank's eyes. "I have you. You are safe. It is now time for you to rest. You will not be left alone so sleep my brother." Tal'mac touched each of Cole's eyes and the human feel into a deep sleep. He would be out for about half an hour, hopefully waking to believe he was in the correct life. Tal'mac smiled and turned toward the other humans. "Any questions?"
MAXWELL
Max had watched the Ceremony in awe at the power the aged elf held. He looked at Gloria and smiled. He almost stepped in when Frank Cole started fighting Tal'mac. Gloria held him back saying, "No Max! Tal'mac and the others have this. We won't lose him. Trust and Watch!"
Max nodded as he whispered back, "You are loving me trying to enter though? Frank has never been this bad before, Gloria. I hate not knowing what the problem is, or flying blind. Gloria, I remember generating something like Tal'mac is when I tried to help my sister Lara. Then somehow, I got distracted. The next thing I remember is being told that my twin sister was in a coma." Max started tearing up. His sister was still trapped in his mind. She had been secretly entering his mind and when he was attacked she could not return to her own body. Her body lay in a bed in the hospital.
Gloria smiled as she gave Max a playful punch saying, "Of course I love it when your instincts kick in. It means you are finally trusting yourself and not just seeing your gift as the curse that evil woman said it was. Max, You were a ten year old scared little boy, who had never tapped his gift before. And to feel somebody in your head, who would not get distracted? You probably thought it was that Dark Sect High Priestess Zia Zebo making good on her threat five years earlier? Max, nobody not even Tarik guessed that Lara was visiting your mind. Max, surely now you realize that and can forgive yourself?"
Max wiped his eyes as he nodded. He smiled at the elves as Tal'mac spoke. He nodded as he asked, "Is this the same as I tried at ten, Tal'mac? Also will somebody finally bring me up to speed? I have so many questions, about why that day I failed, why I got distracted so easily back then? If I had not been back by Gloria, would my gift had helped or would Frank now be like Lara? And.."
Max was interrupted by Jonathan barging in saying angrily, "What in the blazes happened to Tia and why did I just get a vision of her marrying a wolf? I want answers Fixer, Now!"
TAL'MAC
Tal'mac looked down again at the sleeping Frank Cole. The other elves would keep a close eye on him until Tal'mac felt it safe to bring the human back to the real world. He walked closer to Master Maxwell. "All I know now is a newer Mind Bending machine, then the one used on Master Frank a while back, was used on him this time. It had to have been used more and for longer periods of time to get the results Damir did. The young master is convinced Damir is the only one who knows the truth about how the world should work.
Tal'mac was just about to answer Max when Jonathan ran into the room. He held up his hand to the human. "Hold Master Jonathan, Master Frank is still asleep. I have not done another reading yet to see if he can be allowed to wake. Mistress Tia, will be fine. She is being watched at the school by those who can be trusted to keep her safe. Sit down my young friend and tell me more of your vision."
MAXWELL
Maxwell got the realization that Tal'mac at this time was not going to answer him. "Should have realized that Tal'mac like Martin wants me to wait until Frank can reveal things. I was sent to debrief Fixer and that means only using what I learn from the man himself is needed." Max thought as he listened to Tal'mac ask Jonathan to reveal more of his dream.
The young Tech smiled as he said, "Well I can ease everybody's minds about one thing." Lyon pulled out wires and other electrics from his pockets. He handed them to Jack as he said, "They won't be able to ever use either the new machine or the chair attachment again! Not without these. Those two evil machines, I completely destroyed them as Tal'mac requested. The problem I face is one of the pups might have recognized me? I pray the twelve year old terror did not. Cause if he did then my five year old sister might be in danger. Vance swore to make me pay for me telling Fixer about him. The twelve year old is Vance's younger brother and idolizes Vance. Which means my baby sister Mia could be in extreme trouble."

COLE
Cole's eyes fluttered. He didn't want to return to the world where the lights were bright. He knew it was going to be a scary place. The last thing he remembered was someone telling him he was safe. Who had said it? It was Tal'mac his blood brother. He moved his fingers and tried to move his arms, but they were tied to something. Cole opened his eyes more and looked around. The other elves of his island were standing around him in a circle. That couldn't be a good thing. He tried to speak, but his mouth was too dry. A small glass with a straw was held to his lips and he drank greedily. When it was removed he asked, "What happened?"
Cole remembered walking down the street in Knockturn Alley headed for a meeting with an informant. He remembered strange dreams about another place, but they weren't clear. Now he was lying in one of the beds in what could only be one of the interrogation rooms in the barracks of his island. He needed answers, and he needed to get up. He again pulled on the restraints.
TAL'MAC
Tal'mac tried hard not to smile at the human's thoughts. Master Maxwell could usually figure out things on his own, without too much prompting. Tal'mac did not want to put any preconceived notions into Master Maxwell's brain. The man needed to be able to take what Master Frank said and come to conclusions on that information alone. It was the only way for him to truly know how Master Frank was again conceiving the world around him.
Tal'mac nodded. "That was the only other machine I have been able to find out existed. I think some of the werewolves knew it was there, but I am sure they did not and do not now know how powerful it is." Tal'mac took the pieces from Lyon and handed them to Jack. "Could you take these to the platform and have them sent to the coordinates I gave you earlier as my personal home grounds? Put them in a box and mark the box with the symbol I showed you." The pieces would now be off the island and somewhere no human would be able to get to them.
Jack nodded and took the pieces. "Yes of course." The man left the room.
Tal'mac turned back to Lyon and listened to his worries. "I will have your sister removed from the island. I cannot personally go back there, but there are ways to get things done. Human's tend to try and block all of the avenues to where they don't want others to be. The only problem with this, Master Lyon, is they tend to over think things and leave small simple breaks in their security. With any luck I will have your sister out by nightfall. I will have her brought here and you may decide what is to be done with her. She hasn't been bitten yet, but as you well know ever since she has been able to put two thoughts together, she has been brainwashed to think the werewolf societies is the one true society who should command the Magical world."
Lyon bowed low to the Grand Sire elf. "I would be eternally grateful if you could bring her too me. We have always had a strong bond between us. I know I can teach her about tolerance for all the beings of the Earth, even Muggles." Lyon snickered.
Tal'mac nodded. He looked at Mecum and smiled. The elf nodded. The rescue of the little girl was in motion.
When Tal'mac saw movement on the bed behind him he slowly turned and walked to the side of the mattress. "It is good to have you back with us young master. You have been away." Tal'mac reached out his hand and placed it on Cole's forehead. He closed his eyes, smiled and opened them again. Without removing his hand he asked, "Where are you my brother?"
Receiving an answer of "On my island... Isle of Perdition." Tal'mac asked another question. "Who do you answer to my brother?" Tal'mac could not hold back the smile when Cole answered, "Only to myself Grand Sire."
"Very good then you may get up. I would advise you to take it slowly though." As Cole sat on the side of the bed Tal'mac continued. "For the next fortnight you will have at least two of your elves around you at all times, whether you are awake or asleep they will be with you. You were taken to Damir's place and a newer Brain control machine was used on you. The machine has been dismantled and no other one has been found, but I am worried about relapses. If the elves tell you to do something you will do it automatically, because they will have permission to stop you if need be. Am I being understood?"
Cole nodded. Tal'mac turned to the others. "Master Cole can have half an hour to answer any questions then he will rest for a minimum of three hours. After that we will take it as we see fit."
************************************************
JACK JENNINGS
Jack ran back into the room. After he delivered the machine parts to the sending pad to get them to where Tal'mac wanted them to be, he stopped by and looked into a couple of the other rooms, using the video screens. Brennan was lying on the bed resting. He stood at the screen waiting for One-Eye to come into view. The man must be in the rest room. After five minutes he turned on the heat sensor and discovered there was no one in the room, anywhere.
Immediately he radioed Tom to let him know the man had escaped and then headed back to the room where the Captain was being helped. He didn't want to disturb them, but he needed Gloria. She might be able to mentally pinpoint the man's where about. The woman insisted she wasn't psychic but she used whatever was in her head and could usually find people if they were still on the island.
Knocking he entered and whispered in her ear. He received a nod and then turned to Maxwell Sinclair, who for all intense and purposes was the man in charge in the room. "We have to find One-eye. He seems to have decided to take an unscheduled walk. Jack glanced at the Captain, who just sat in his chair staring straight ahead. The island could be kept running, but Jack hoped the Captain would be able to take charge again soon.
MAXWELL
Max listened to Jack and nodded. "Ok, you and Gloria go. Have Tom or a runner keep me informed on what is happening. Go but remember One-Eye has been through two years of who knows what. So Deal with the Head of the Hit Wizards accordingly." Max turned to Lyon. "Lyon why don't you go and prepare a room for your sister. If I am right she should be here in about five hours. Jonathan will take you to the room where we will be keeping in contact on where the rescue stands. Any help you can give them on the werewolf clan's island could be really helpful." Turning to Jonathan he said, "You will be in charge of the rescue from this end. The people getting the girl out know what they are doing, but I want you to be prepared if they need anything including medical help."
Receiving a nod from both men, before they walked out the door. Max ran his hand through his hair and turned to Kimtu and Artkee. "Would you two please go and find out who was supposed to be guarding the man and find out where he messed up. Tell Tom I gave you permission to run a special training on the right way to lock someone up and keep them where you put them. You can run the course anyway you see fit." As the two elves left the room, Maxwell held in the snicker threatening to break free. Whoever the person or persons were in charge of the lock up were not going to be happy when the elves finished their "training course."
Max turned back to Frank Cole, his friend, sitting at the table. The man glanced at Tal'mac as his mind realized that Fixer was not as back as he was trying to get them to believe. "Frank always turns the chair around. Also if he was fully back Fixer would have reacted to One-Eye's being lose. Frank is playing with us but why?" Turning back to Frank Cole, "Okay Mr. Cole, Why don't you state for the record your full name? Then tell me what you can remember of the last couple days." Max wondered if he should have Gloria get her uncle Martin
COLE
Cole continued to stare straight ahead. His mind was going through hundreds of pictures like a never ending speeding train. He tried to grab hold of a couple of them, but couldn't. Master Damir had told him to stay strong and not let the people who would try and convince him he didn't belong with the Master, win. But, he wanted to believe the person and the two elves who were still in the room. Deep in his heart he knew he could trust them, but he couldn't give in. Could he?
When he looked up at the Elf who had called him friend, he blinked several times. Tears were threatening to fall and he had to stop them. "I... I... can't give you the information you want. My master will be angry if he finds out I have given in. I... I... just can't." Again he focused his eyes across the room to the bed he had been tied in. He just needed to shut down. That would help. They would get tired of asking him questions eventually.
PUNTA
Punta stepped up behind Master Cole. He placed two fingers on each of his temples and gently applied pressure. Then he leaned down and whispered, "Mindweaver. Mindweaver, it is time for you to come home. You are safe and we need you."
Punta had been given the honor of bringing Master Cole back from the place his subconscious had been sent to, in order to infiltrate the MacIntosh Werewolf Clan. None of them had expected that he would be taken for such a long period of time, or that a new improved mind-bending machine had been developed. Master Cole was just supposed to get captured, taken to the island, retrieved what information he could and then would send a mind signal to be brought home again.
Punta and his brother elves had been very worried at first. They would not have called on Grand Sire Tal'mac to help if they had thought they could handle it. The Grand Sire had a love of human's but he was a very busy personage. But in the end they had all agreed the leader was needed, if they wanted to save Master Cole.
Maxwell
Max turned to Tal'mac shrugging, "Mindweaver? Great another Priest? Should I inform Martin? Tal'mac I can't chance losing him the same way I hurt Lara."
Max got up and pulled his globe and wand. It was time to call Martin Kildare. Frank Cole was very possibly a Major threat but with his sister Lara's tears, Max could not think. “Lara please?”, he thought. “I can't deal with things when my twin's spirit is flooding my mind with tears.” Max hated upsetting his twin sister's spirit.
All of a sudden he felt anger as he seemed to be thrown on his butt from inside. “Sissy, who dares upset you?”
As Max once again found himself on the ground from an internal attack he recognized the voice, “Priest?” The next thing he knew his body was flying across the room as he heard Lara answer his true key, “I'm not upset or a fraidy-cat like you.” Trying to get up Max thought to Lara, “Lara, run. Priest! Leave Lara out of this! You Did Enough when we were ten! Now get Away From Her!” Max was shaking as he understood he had angered his inner self more as he heard, "Stop Calling Me Priest! I Did not hurt Sissy! It is Not My Fault!"[/i] Max felt his body hit the wall hard. Lara was crying even more but Max heard her say, "Enough you two! You are supposed to be a team!" Max shook his head knowing he needed to get Martin. Pulling his arm up to activate the globe, Max started freaking out as somehow he had lost his globe. Looking at the other hand, he found no wand in it. "Gone, Now how do I call Martin? "
Tal'mac
Tal'mac placed his hands behind his back. Maxwell's, message globe, used to signal the Caretakers and would not work on the Isle of Perdition, and the man's wand also useless on the island were sitting comfortably in his pocket. He was going to let the man have his internal struggle with himself, his Key, his subconscious and the internal spirit of his twin sister, which had been trapped in his body for years. Tal'mac waited.
"Martin Kildare will not be called to the island. You are going to handle Master Frank. His Key, Mindweaver is benevolent and the only reason he was able to go undercover. Now sit, Master Maxwell and watch as you will see the transformation, which maybe someday you will allow yourself to unfold with your own being.
Tal'mac turned to Master Frank. "Listen to your heart my friend. Allow what is truly within you to come forth. Come home to us. Mindweaver open to us."
COLE
Cole dropped his head into his hands. His head hurt. His body hurt. He watched as a shape took form in his mind eye. It was a smiling embodiment, looking like he looked about twenty years ago. Cole took a deep breath. He felt like he had been holding his breath for too long, and the air had finally cleared.
Raising his head he looked around, a slow smile inching across his face. "How long.... how long have I been away?" He knew time would not matter when he was on the werewolf island. His body had just been going through the motions. Enough of his mind stayed active to be able to take care of regular functions and to fool anyone who may attempt a mind search on him.
"Tal'mac. Did it work?" Cole looked over his shoulder and smiled at Punta. "Thank you my friend. I am beyond tired at the moment."
MAXWELL
Maxwell dropped his head as he went over to the table and sat down. “Tal'mac, I haven't felt Priest in years not since that night Lara got unknowingly trapped in my mind. He doesn't talk but acts out, I can't trust an inner key that is unstable and furious like he is.” He wanted to tell Tal'mac what he feared but his head was killing him.
Inside Max's mind)
Lara had had enough of her brother's body and inner self distrust and anger at each other. She wanted to go back to her body but couldn't until she helped get Max and Mindhealer working as one. She smiled at the image of the small boy. “Enough! Come here cause I am tired of doing your job Mindhealer!”
The boy was shocked, “Sissy, Please it is not my Fault! He hates me and blames me for not saving you. My name is not Priest! Don't go away cause at least you can get him to listen. We just fight, me and him.” He started crying, “I don't know what would happen if we lost you again.”
(Real World)
Max's head went down on the table as he felt his true key's confusion and sadness. Priest was crying and feeling his world was falling apart. “Just like when we were five. We watched helplessly as Zia and her goons destroyed everything and now we failed Frank Cole.”
TAL'MAC
Tal'mac walked over to stand behind Master Frank. "You have been away about a month maybe a bit more. I have checked your mind and everything worked out the way it was supposed to be. Apparently there was a newer mind-bending machine made and it will be a bit before you will be allowed to wonder free. I'm sure we have taken care of everything, though. Either one of the elves or two of your troops will accompany you everywhere. For the next week, they will even stay inside your bedroom when you sleep. Mindweaver is unharmed and is back in control of your subconscious. Welcome back my friend."
Tal'mac turned to Master Lance. "You subconscious key, is well. He is still the five-year-old boy you once were when you and your sister's minds combined. Your sister wants to go home to her own body and I think it is time also."
COLE
"I agree," Cole said as he turned to his friend Lance Maxwell.
Cole stood up and turned his chair around so he could straddle it, sitting the other way was very uncomfortable. He concentrated and closed his eyes for a moment. He looked into Maxwell's mind and found his sister and his Key arguing. "That is enough from the two of you. Mindhealer, I know it is hard to not act like a five-year-old, but you have been around for many years now and have seen and heard many things. Maxwell is scared and it is your job to be brave enough to support him and let him know he is not alone. And Sissy, you are right to want to stop doing Mindhealer's job. It is time for you to go home and let the two of them work it out."
"I agree Mr. Cole. I want to go home although I am scared. I have all these experiences I will remember and my body is now that of a young woman. I am scared and apprehensive."
"I know young lady but you are strong and will survive. The doctors and nurses have kept your body active but you will have some physical therapy to go thorough. When you are firmly back in your own being, we will re-awake your own Key and give you all the help you need."
Cole looked at the door as the elf, Tarka came into the room and stood behind Maxwell. The elf put two fingers on each side of Maxwell's head and then rested his forehead on the back of Maxwell's.
"Sissy it is time to say goodbye to your brother for a little while. Within two days, Maxwell will come to the hospital and the two of you can again talk face to face.
"Goodbye for now sweet brother. All will be fine. I look forward to getting a hug from you."
Cole nodded at Tarka and the elf flinched. The elf stood up straight, dropped his hands to his side and turned slowly. Punta bowed to Cole and then took Tarka by the arm and lead him out of the room. The elf would be taken to the sending pad and then to the hospital where Maxwell's sister lay in a coma. At that point, Sissy's mind would be transferred out of Tarka and into her body. With the two elves there and some specialized doctors everything was going to be fine. Lance Kildare, a specialist in both Legitimacy and Occlumency would be the head doctor on the transfer.
Cole looked back to Maxwell, not stepping out of his mind.

MAXWELL
Max was scared as he could no longer feel Lara. He thought to his true key and felt the confusion and loneliness. "Where is Lara, Priest? What did Fixer do with her now?" He felt the fury as he heard,
"Stop calling me Priest! She left!" As his legs felt like they were kicked out from under him, Max was shocked to feel the key once again retreating as he barely heard, "You should be the one gone not Lara! Be happy you got your wish as where she went I can't go. I will never Forgive You! I could have saved her years ago if you would have just not been a coward and instead have faced that Witch! Instead you Let the Witch take her!"
Maxwell cried as he understood Priest's fury as he still wished he had come out and confronted Zia Zebo. He had once again failed to protect his sister Lara. "Worse Tia has been changed and with what Jonathan said about his newest vision, I am wondering if..."Max whispered then stopped himself. He glared at Fixer as he said, "Debrief time Fixer. What happened on that island and what did those wolves do to Tia and Luke? Cause neither have spoken since they got back to the school."
COLE
Cole made short work of telling Maxwell the little he remembered about being on the Werewolf island. He knew most of the information was now being blocked by his Key, so it could be brought out slowly and examined. What he had to do now was reacquaint himself with what happened on his island while he was away.
"Max I know you are confused. I know you want answers, but I don't have those answers for you. It will be possibly months before I even remember everything myself. Tia and Landon will be fine. They are being watched and under the care of Lance Kildare and his trusted friends. What has happened has had an effect on a lot of people and we are going to have to work our way through the list slowly. What you need to do is go to the hospital and see your sister. They will be wakening her in a few hours. She is going to want you there. She will have a lot of memories, which she has gotten by sharing your mind. Go to her Max."
Cole watched as Maxwell, slowly stood up and started toward the door. When he turned Cole stopped him from speaking by saying, "No, my friend, we will talk later." As the door closed, Cole took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Now he had to figure out where everything in his life stood before he could help others who had been classified under the Caretakers "Code Red" catagory.

PUNTA
Max entered the room and heard Punta ask about removing his hands. ... Tal'mac walked into the room.
Tal'mac stood at Master Frank's shoulders and said, "It is time to bring our friend home."
COLE
There was real fear and panic in Master Frank's eyes as he stared up at Tal'mac and shook his head.
Tal'mac smiled. "It is alright my friend, I know you are scared and think we are going to harm you, but I promise you we are not. Soon you will understand." Master Frank started to shake ...
The Elf who appeared to be in charge was calling him his friend. Master Damir had said no elf could be his friend, because they were inept and worthless beings, trying to establish the world as theirs.
Tal'mac put one hand over his forehead, allowing only an inch between their skin, and place the other hand over his blood-brothers heart. ... Punta extended his arms fully out to the side ... He held his palms facing outward. Kimtu held his arms the same way, ... Artkee's palms were held out ... Mecum extended his palm toward Artkee ...and Tarka ... The circle was complete. ... light which started to extend from each palm to each palm ...
"Tal'mac? Help please." He had no idea why he was asking for the creatures help, or what kind of help he was even asking for, but he knew it was imperative he get it.
TAL'MAC
(Max) ... "Is this the same as I tried at ten, Tal'mac? Also will somebody finally bring me up to speed?
Tal'mac looked down again at the sleeping Frank Cole. The other elves would keep a close eye on him until Tal'mac felt it safe to bring the human back to the real world. He walked closer to Master Maxwell. "All I know now is a newer Mind Bending machine, then the one used on Master Frank a while back, was used on him this time. It had to have been used more and for longer periods of time to get the results Damir did. The young master is convinced Damir is the only one who knows the truth about how the world should work.
(Max) "I have so many questions, about why that day I failed, why I got distracted so easily back then? If I had not been back by Gloria, would my gift had helped or would Frank now be like Lara? And.."
Max was interrupted by Jonathan barging in saying angrily, "What in the blazes happened to Tia and why did I just get a vision of her marrying a wolf? I want answers Fixer, Now!"
Max was interrupted by Jonathan barging in saying angrily, "What in the blazes happened to Tia and why did I just get a vision of her marrying a wolf? I want answers Fixer, Now!"

COLE
Cole shook his head hard. "No," he screamed. "Please stop. I... Tal'mac? Help please." ...
(Tal'mac) ..."I have you. You are safe. It is now time for you to rest. You will not be left alone so sleep my brother."
(Tal'mac) ..."I have you. You are safe. It is now time for you to rest. You will not be left alone so sleep my brother."
TAL'MAC
(Maxwell) ... "Should have realized that Tal'mac like Martin wants me to wait until Frank can reveal things. I was sent to debrief Fixer and that means only using what I learn from the man himself is needed." ...
(Lyon) ... "Well I can ease everybody's minds about one thing ...They won't be able to ever use either the new machine or the chair attachment again! Not without these. Those two evil machines, I completely destroyed them as Tal'mac requested."...
(Lyon) "...
Cole's eyes fluttered. ... Cole opened his eyes more and looked around. ... A small glass with a straw was held to his lips and he drank greedily. ... "What happened?" ... He again pulled on the restraints.
TAL'MAC
Raising his head he looked around, a slow smile inching across his face. "How long.... how long have I been away?"... "Tal'mac. Did it work?" Cole looked over his shoulder and smiled at Punta. "Thank you my friend. I am beyond tired at the moment."
Maxwell dropped his head as he went over to the table and sat down. “Tal'mac, I haven't felt Priest in years not since that night Lara got unknowingly trapped in my mind. He doesn't talk but acts out, I can't trust an inner key that is unstable and furious like he is.”
Tal'mac turned to Master Lance. "You subconscious key, is well. He is still the five-year-old boy you once were when you and your sister's minds combined. Your sister wants to go home to her own body and I think it is time also."
COLE
Tal'mac turned to Master Lance. "You subconscious key, is well. He is still the five-year-old boy you once were when you and your sister's minds combined. Your sister wants to go home to her own body and I think it is time also."
"I agree," Cole said as he turned to his friend Lance Maxwell.
