Capture Through Betrayal (Shrinking Shack)
(combined threads from previous site)
(OOC: Continuation from Hogwarts School, Office of Head of Security>Two Days Scramble for Protection)
DAMIR
Damir paced in the small dirty kitchen of the shack. The boy was late. He had thought the last punishment he had handed out would have cured the boy from not listening to him. Damir checked the coiled whip fastened to his side. This time maybe he would have to add a few more stokes, a little harder. The boy had to learn.
With any luck his nephew would be bringing Luke back. That boy was going to be a treasure when he was fully trained. He was intellectually smart. He cared deeply about several people which made him the perfect target for blackmail. That little group of kids who called themselves the Core, could possibly come right into his hands and his control. It would give him power to ask for what he wanted, which was more power.
Damir stopped in his tracks as he listened. There wasn't a physical sound, but he could hear Liam in his head. It sounded like the boy was getting close. Damir pressed himself up against the wall behind where the door would open from the passageway. He fingered his whip and smiled.
MARCO
Marco and Fixer walked a little ahead of Richard. This was to make the traitor Damir believe that Liam had indeed been able to activate Richard easily. Marco had blanked his mind before they had gotten even into the garden area. He smiled as his eyes scanned the grounds and saw only Liam and Alex as the two entered the secret entrance in the tree.
When they reach the other end of the tunnel, Marco barely saw a shoe under the crack of the door leading to the kitchen. He pointed it out to Fixer and Richard. He shook his head as his act began, "Luke, you here?"
He and Fixer followed Richard into the kitchen. "I told you that Liam kid was sending us on a wild goose chase. Luke would not come here. If he is not somewhere in this shack, I am going to have that Liam kid in detention by the end of the day."
Three feet into the kitchen, Marco heard from behind, "Soluamenasium". Within seconds a red saber blade was inches from his throat. He heard Liam say with a sly chuckle, "Told you Shadow Hunter, the fools would check here."
Alex added his chuckle trying to play the part. "Well before you step any farther into the room , why don't you lose your toys? We would not want to have you accidentally lose your heads..."
Marco's spare wand was in his hand within seconds. He was not about to let the traitor of the PACT have his favorite wand, so he had brought his spare. Fixer had raised his hands in the air. Richard stood off to the side, playing the perfect patsy and traitor. Rub'ik stood in the passageway, watching through the crack in the door.
DAMIR
"Very well done boys. Liam I didn't know you had it in you." Damir said as he walked out of the shadowy corner and into the light. "Hands behind your backs." He watched as Marco Spellman and Frank Cole followed his orders. Again both men cooperated. This sent a small chill down Damir's spin, as he watched Alex tie the men's hands behind their backs.
Something was telling him this was all going too smoothly, but he couldn't pin point the reason. Glancing at Richard Greene he found the man staring at Liam as if he was waiting for the boy to tell him what to do next. Liam was being a real surprise in all of this. "Take them upstairs and put them on their knees in the music room." Damir chuckled to himself. The only reason he called it the music room was because there was an old falling apart piano in one corner of the dirty dusting cobwebbed room.
It took every bit of his control for Cole to do what he was being told. It was the only way to find out Damir's orders. He stepped up the creaking steps just ahead of Marco. When they reached the second story landing, Cole took the three steps which placed them in a room, with broken shutters on the one window which barely let in light.
"On your knees, scum." Liam was playing his part well. Cole felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Richard pretending to push him hard to the floor. Marco sank next to him. Within a moment, Damir appeared in front of them. The man grabbed a hunk of Cole's and Marco's hair and forced their head back. "It is so nice you gentlemen have decided to come and visit me. I'm thinking of taking you home with me and introducing you around. Would you like that?"
Damir didn't wait for an answer. He looked at Richard and said, "I want you to use your fist on them and hurt them bad, slave."
Richard didn't move. He shook his head, but Liam walked up in front of him and said, "Do it."
Richard lowered his head and walked to in front of Marco and Cole. With apologies in his eyes, he struck out and kept striking until both Cole and Marco were on the ground. Adding a couple of kicks, which he pulled back from, he made it look like he was following orders. He stopped and turned to look at Liam. The idea was to play it up to make it look like Liam was controlling him.
LIAM
Liam had not expected his uncle to have appeared as he did. Inside the 5th year Gryffindor had wanted to flee from the shack. He mind raced as he watched Professor Greene. He felt Alex's free hand on his shoulder and heard, "I have to admit Liam, your plan worked. Now shut your saber off and take the Professor back to the school. I will join you shortly."
Liam glanced nervously as he thought, "DE-RE-TOLL" He watched as his wand ceased to be a light saber. He wondered as he was about to pocket his wand as to the red color. When he had envisioned it in his head, Liam had thought it would be black. He had especially been shocked that it had even worked.
Alex was hooded and so his uncle could not see the worry in his face. His cousin Liam's fear was a major concern. He had to get Liam away from the shack before Liam's fear betrayed them all. He knew that Liam had seen Damir's whip. The boy's mind had began reliving his punishment and Alex knew it would not take much for Liam to fall apart and tell Damir everything.
Marco Spellman stared at Damir and started to fight his bonds, "You, I remember..." Before he could finish, Alex pressed his own spare wand into his neck saying, "Cou d'pointe"
COLE START POST HERE
Cole began to fight his own bonds. He knew there was going to be pain involved, but he was hoping the boys would not have to be the ones who doled it out. He could feel Alex's regret and even fear at having to hurt any of them. He needed to get Damir focused on something else. "So what do you want traitor." Cole had an idea Damir might be the leak in the PACT group he and his friends had formed in college to try and right some of the wrongs of the wizarding world. Damir had actually been his roommate. They had been friends, although Cole had been closer to Damir's twin brother, who was Liam's real father although the boy did not know it. "You're not going to get anything out of us."
Damir walked over and stood in front of Cole. "Ah but Frankie, I don't need to get anything out of you. All I have to do is deliver you to the island and collect my reward." Damir glanced at Liam when the boy gasped. Turning back to his onetime roommate he continued, "You see you and Marco here have a price on your heads."
Damir walked over to Richard and put a hand on his shoulder. Richard kept staring at Liam. "Richard here is turning into a real jewel. I think I will be able to use him to bring some of the younger ones into my hands. They can be trained and then fed back into the system."
It took all of Richards will power not to jerk and turn to beat the man to a pulp. He concentrated on Liam which helped him school his face.
Alex had suggested that Liam take Greene back to the school. Again he was torn, something was off. Liam seemed to have the Professor under his control. Greene was looking to the boy for guidance. Having two less people to watch would be good. He still had to get in touch with someone and let the clan know the prizes he had before him. "Liam, I'm going to let you take the professor back to the school. You need to keep an eye on him though. If he gets out of hand, it's your head which will roll and your body which will suffer the punishment. Are we understood in this?" Receiving a nod from the boy. Liam looked at Alex then motioned for Greene to follow him. When they were back in the passage way. Liam's legs almost gave out. If Richard had not caught him he would have gone down.
Rub'ik smiled. "Very good job Master Liam. I am very proud of you. Now both of you return to the school. My brother will be here soon and we will see what else we can learn before we take the human out of the equation."
MARCO
All Marco could do was breath through the pain of the spell. Alex had kept it light but the spell was made to deliver pain.
Inwardly he smiled as he saw Liam leave. The boy was scared and Marco understood why Alex had suggested the boy leave. He worked his bonds as he said with anger he truly felt, “We trusted you Damir! The whole PACT thought of you as one of our mentors. You, Tamir, Cap and William Andreas were the founders of the PACT. That night I really thought...” Marco stopped as he was once again felt the betrayal at seeing the face of the man who had not only held him prisoner but had actually laughed as he was forced to watch Unit A, his military unit, shot down and killed. Marco was once again struggling to breath as his bonds got too tight.
Alex struggled with his own fears. He was glad his cousin Damir had taken his suggestion concerning Liam and Professor Green. He felt the pain from behind as he went down.
DAMIR
William Rikard’s wand glowed as he looked at the hooded boy. His magic was stronger now. He went and knelt in front of Damir. “They are setting you up Sir. My debt to you and the Clan is repaid! If the clan attacks the school, tell the Alpha I will not be there.” William saw the fury in Marco Spellman.
As William got up and headed for the door, he glanced back at the boy saying, “Don’t Professor Spellman. They helped return my magic. I owed them. That is repaid. Though when I knock the betrayer out, I did not realize he was a kid. For that I am sorry.” He hoped the kid would wake but this war was not his problem. His problem was his friend Brennan Dawson and him both having feelings for the same girl. Now that his magic was back, he was going to get her back.
Marco had watched as William Rikard admitted to knocking Alex out. “You better hope that kid is alright Rikard! If not, you better run!” He fought his bonds now that their ruse was exposed. He could not believe that William Rickard had changed so much. Sasha would feel the betrayal the most but now Marco feared for Liam. His anger got the better of him, “Do you even realize or care what you have done? William, have you really changed that much? That you would betray everything Joseph Witchard taught you! Do you know what thanks to you, two boys are going to face?”
William shook his head as he said fury, “Don’t You Dare Bring Joseph into this! Where were you when he was Murdered!” He did feel regret though. William had his own problems and he had not talked to any about the reason he had jumped at the chance to get his magic restored, which Candance had told him about. It had been two years and many of those he trusted were gone. The nagging thought that he was not totally debt free, hung onto the edge of his mind.
Marco said as he heard William, “Can you really be that lost? Do you really think they will let you walk away? William think!”
William looked at Damir as he asked, “I owed one favor... Damir, the boys might not even be aware that the two men were setting you up. My debt is paid!”
(OCC: For more information on William see An End To His Suffering)
"I'm afraid you are not permitted to leave, William Rikard. I will have to check with the clan to make sure you have fully paid your debt. You are a very valuable person to us now. Colloportus, Expelliarmus." Damir chuckled as William turned and glared at him. The man tried the door again, but it was securely locked. Damir knew William could not do wandless magic. That ability might return to the man, but he was not strong enough yet to use the ability.
"I have paid my debt. Release me now." If William could use wordless magic, Damir would be dead and buried.
Cole cringed. He looked over at Marco, knowing the man saw things had just gotten worse. Their only hope was that Darik and Rub'ik were outside and would prevent them from being taken back to the island. He looked down at Alex, who hadn't moved yet. The boy had taken the hit hard. Cole couldn't help himself when a whispered snicker slipped out between his lips. No matter what anyone told him, he knew William had not turned at least not completely.
Damir pointed to a the bench of the old piano, absently noticing the instrument had been cleaned recently. Looking into the top of it he noticed some new wires had been added. Looked like someone had been fixing it. Interesting. "Sit down William. When I get the chance, I will see what the Alpha's might have in store for you."
Rubik stood outside the door to the room, invisible to everyone except for a slight waver in the air. He hoped his brother would get there soon. He wasn't sure if he should interfere or not in the human's doings.
Cole settled into his chair. It was the only thing he could do at the moment. "So traitor, what do you want from us?"
Damir looked at William and then walked over to stand in front of Cole. Placing the tip of his wand under the man's chin, he leaned in closer. "What I want is to be at home, enjoying myself. Instead I am stuck here doing errands for those with more power than I have at the moment." Glancing at Marco he said, "Marco is going to return to the island with me. He is going to learn how things must be. He is going to work for us or suffer more pain than he ever knew existed. He is also going to help with the indoctrination of some of the wizarding world's finest.
Damir reached out and grabbed Cole's hair, yanking his head back hard. "As for you. I think I will just take you back to the island and have some fun trying out some of the new ways of convincing people to behave. Maybe if you are good I will allow you into the fertility building and let some of the women there use you. You will of course be tied up, but that won't make any difference to them. They have ways of taking what they want." Damir chuckled as he slammed Cole's head forward, so that his chin painfully hit his chest.
Damir walked over to stand in front of Marco. "So Marco, what do you think of my little plan? Won't it be fun to be back on the island? I know of at least three people waiting for your return so they can show you how much you have been missed."

MARCO START POST HERE
Marco shook his head as he said, "And the boys? Damir, what do you plan for Alex and Liam?" He was worried for both but Alex more so as the 15 year old had not moved.
William felt helpless. The wand had flown into Damir's hand. Without his wand he was as dangerous to Damir as a Muggle. The man wished he had thought of why the Enforcer had chosen to unlock William's magic. He glared at Damir as he said, "My debt is paid. I will do nothing more for the Enforcer, Damir." He looked at the boy he had knocked out and was relieved to see his eyes blink.
Marco looked at Damir as he said, "I have no interest in seeing Matthew or Markus! Just how do you plan on me going with you Damir? Your spy just knocked out Markus' Shadow Hunter!" Marco had to pray he could once again block his siblings. He glared at Captain as he thought about just why he had pleaded with Cap to not fix the Link.
Marco said as he tried to force up his wall over his mind, so his siblings would not be feeling any of the pain or fear he had. "The Clan will learn nothing from me Damir! You are a traitor and the PACT will see you destroyed for your betrayal!"
DARIK
Darik had just arrived outside the door where his brother stood. Silently he asked what was happening. Rubik looked at him and silently said, "Master Marco and Master Frank are tied to chairs. Master William is free but his wand has been taken away from him. Master Alex is lying on the floor. Other than being sore he is alright and is playing like he is still out cold. He won't be able to do it much more though. His body is going to want to move. The human called Damir, apparently an unbitten werewolf, is in charge. I haven't interfered yet."
Darik nodded silently saying, "You stay here. Be ready to take Master Frank, Master Marco, Master Alex and even Master William out of the room if I signal. I know it has been stated, the humans want Master Marco to actually go to the island of the werewolf clan, but I'm not sure that is the best thing at the moment." Darik silently made his way into the room, knowing if anyone was looking they would be able to see the slight ripple in the air. He made his way over to the corner and stood still. "Master Frank, I am here. It is set up to remove you all if necessary."
COLE BEGIN POSTING HERE
Cole felt when Darik had entered the room. When the elf's voice floated through his mind he had to bite the inside of his mouth to not react. He had to try and get some of the information they needed to stop the attack. "So Damir, what are your plans not?"
Damir chuckled and walked back to lean against the piano. "First this..." The Wizard conjured up a small golden dart and spoke: 'Have the people. Please come.'. Then he pointed with his wand out the window and the dart flew out. "I have just sent for an Alpha. When he gets here, you can explain to him how you can help or I can have some fun with the boy on the floor." Damir had seen the boy move a muscle. "You can get up now boy and join your friends. Either move or I will move your body for you."
Alex had waited as long as he could. He slowly got up and tried to play innocent. The fifteen year old went straight to Damir asking, “What do you mean cousin? What happened? I am sorry for blacking out...” At that moment, a cloaked man that Alex knew and feared, “The Clan Enforcer, Markus MacIntosh” appeared. Alex immediately fell to his knees. He heard Professor Spellman, “Leave the boy alone!”
Alex watched as his uncle Markus walk up to Marco and yanked the man’s head back. His uncle said furiously, “How dare you speak!” Markus then turned onto him, “Shadow Hunter! Show this Pet his place!” then dropped Marco Spellman’s head as Alex inwardly shook.
Alex knew he had no choice as he walked up to the Professor. He forced Marco Spellman’s head to the floor as he said, “Pet, you will learn your place! Don’t even raise unless the Alpha Markus orders you to. To do otherwise will lead to you being severely punished!” He waited until Markus smiled and had focused on his cousin.
Markus was thrilled on how quickly Shadow Hunter obeyed. He turned his focus on his step-son saying extremely disappointed, “Damir, only two? Where are the others? Also where is your nephew Liam? What is William Rikard doing here?”
(OOC: I am writing for Cole, Alex, Markus and Damir)
DAMIR
Damir shook his head. He slapped the boy accross the mouth, hard enough to leave a hand print on the boys cheek. "How dare you lie to me, I should...." Before he could finish his sentence, there was a flash.
Damir was fascinated the way Alex quickly fell to his knees. One day he would have that respect from the people around him. People grudgingly knelt and bowed to him now, but there was always a look on their faces which said they did not fear him, and he wanted that fear.
Damir went down on one knee in front of his grandfather. " Alpha, Liam is being held under tight security. He is constantly being watched and not allowed to go anywhere without an elf in tow. He knows he should be here and I am confident he will come as soon as he can break away. The Doctor has been guarded almost as much. As soon as possible the doctor will be told someone is injured and he needs to come immediately. That should get him close enough to grab him.
"Grandfather, you gave the man his magic back, but he thinks just because he does one small favor we have no further use for him. He has considered this favor as total payment for giving him back a way of life he craves. I have informed him he is to stay until you decide he can leave." Damir bowed a little lower when his grandfather grunted. It was sometimes all he got to show his grandfather was pleased with him.
ALEX
Turning back towards Alex, Markus asked questionably, “Shadow Hunter, your adopted-cousin was supposed to bring his whole list! Not just a couple that he believed he could trick. And Shadow Hunter, where is this new pet Luke that I have heard such great things about?”
After hearing Damir, Alpha Markus said a little annoyed with his step-son, “Alex my boy, Show my step-son How to prepare these three properly for questioning. Then be a good lad and go find that boy Luke and your adopted cousin Liam.” Almost as an afterthought, Markus said, “Oh and Shadow Hunter, Remember the price of failure!”
Alex shook at the reminder. His uncle was in a foul mood and that did not bode well for anybody. The Shadow Hunter was not happy about his new errand but if he did not obey then it would just anger the Clan Enforcer further. Alex’s mind showed a picture of the last time he had seen his elder brother Bill. “I can’t worry about what Uncle Markus has planned for them, or even Liam and Luke. For Bill’s sake, I just got to do what I am told. I can deal with the aftermath later.”, Alex thought as he chained the three men as he had been instructed in the training pits.
Frank Cole and Marco were hung from chains which had been attached to a beam in the ceiling and reinforced to hold their weight. William was chained to the pole in the middle of the room, his hands behind him. He hated the Alphas, especially Alpha Markus but unless he wanted his elder brother’s life to get worse then the Enforcer was already making it, Alex would just have to bide his time and obey his ruthless Masters. His brother’s current situation was because Markus had caught Bill sticking up for Alex after the trainers had punished Alex because he had tried to help Liam hide the boy’s half-sister Tamir.
Alex stood off to the side. He had been told to go and find Luke and Liam, but he also knew he had not been told he was allowed to leave. It was two different situations, a point he had painfully learned about. He heard William Rikard once again say his debt was paid. He watched as his uncle grabbed the man by the throat, “You are Done Pet when I say you Are Done! Now Choose Your Magic or Pay Your Debt!”
“Please I was told only a favor in exchange for the return of my magic. Don’t take it back,” William pleaded with Markus.
Markus had almost corrected Damir when he called him grandfather, but it made him feel more important so he let it go. He stood just off to the side of where William was strung up and said, “Step-son, can you do something right for once? If so, teach this wimp his place!”
DAMIR start here with posting
Damir smiled and unhooked his whip from his belt. He had of course been practicing. He could hang layers of paper up and with a flick of his wrist, only slice the top layer off the bundle. This way he could either just leave a red welt or a slice. Of course sometimes living subjects moved so it was harder to keep from slicing their skin, but they usually stayed still when he explained to them moving only made the slices go deeper.
Stepping back, he gave himself the room he would need for the short single tail whip. Cracking it several times in the air, he let the end fly toward William. The mans shirt separated and a small trickle of blood seeped out of the wound. William had moved. "Stay still or I will not be able to judge the strike and it will only be worse." Damir, grabbed Williams eyes and let him know he was telling the truth.
He let the end fly again. This time the material on his right thigh separated, but there was no blood. A thick red weld rose where the end had met the skin. Damir gave three more quick flicks with his wrist, adding one more welt to the first thigh and two to the second. One more flick of the wrist added a slice to William's collar bone, inches shy of slicing his face. "Now tell the Alpha how you feel about following his orders."
William breathed hard, trying to get through the pain, "I will follow your orders Alpha. I will listen and obey."
Damir smirked and recoiled his whip, hooking it back on his waist. Then he looked at the Alpha and grinned.
ALEX
Alex heard Markus grab Fixer and whispered sweetly in the man’s ear, “Want your medicine pet? I brought it with me, you know. You remember what needs to happen for you to earn it? If you need a reminder we can always return to Stage 1?” It was the only thing which brought him back from the horror of seeing Damir at work.
Before he could completely concentrate on what was happening around him, felt the coldness of metal around his neck as the Enforcer said coldly, “I guess Shadow Hunter a lesson of obedience is in order.”
Alex knew fighting the collar was pointless. Hanging his head as Damir cruelly finished chaining him, facing the post, like an animal to the same post William was shacked to, in the middle of the room.
Enforcer cruelly smiled at him as he released a beaten down William Rikard. William crumbled to the floor. As the man started to get up, Markus grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him up the rest of the way until he was standing on his feet, as he whispered cruelly, “Now that we finally know our place pet! Go fetch Lance’s pretty little cousin...” Reaching into his pocket, pulling out a shielded fire-whip, Markus signaled Damir to bare Alex’s back. As he handed Damir the whip, Enforcer said cruelly to William, “I suggest you learn from Shadow Hunter’s error unless you want re-education as well.” Markus shoved William toward the door. “Now Fetch!”
Alex watched as William stumbled out the door. He knew the man would not be allowed to return. Looking at his Uncle he watched the man take position of the fire-whip from the Enforcer. Alex swallowed hard and put his forehead against the post. This was going to hurt, hurt bad. All he prayed was he would survive it.
Markus asked, “What is this Alex that I hear you had requested Damir to send Liam and the professor back to the school? How dare you think! I guess the lesson you got before was not good enough. More instruction is needed...”
Alex’s back felt as if it was on fire. He knew the lashes would continue and the worse of his punishment had not even began yet. He had learned long ago that Uncle Markus was the cruelest of the Clan. His eyes teared as he knew Damir hated him as Damir wanted his rank as Shadow Hunter. As the tears flowed, Alex wondered what Enforcer wanted with the leader of the Core, Tia Andeas.
COLE
Cole was not about to tell the werewolf he had been taken off the control of the drugs he had been forcibly fed when he had been held on the Clan island. The elves had helped him through it and they knew the signs. They also knew he had given them permission to hold him in quarantine any way they could until he was out of the influence. For the moment he just shook his head and tried to add the look of terror to his eyes. It must have worked because Markus painfully threw his head forward, patted his cheek roughly and walked away.
Cole inwardly cringed when he saw the collar being put around Alex's neck. The boy had never wanted to wear the collar again. Cole had promised him he would protect him and now he had failed in that promise. He hoped any trust he had built with the boy was not being destroyed as he watched.
When William was pushed out the door. Cole held in the sigh of relief. At a minimum Rubik would be waiting outside the shack in the tunnel to help the man. He would not be allowed to return, especially with Tia in tow. Cole wondered how long Markus would wait before he figured it out he would not be coming back. Cole knew Darik was still in the room. Unfortunately the elf could not help Alex, because it would give away the fact he was listening. Only if they were going to be killed would the elf interfere.
"Leave the boy alone, Markus. He has done everything you have asked of him. Ask Damir. Richard turned on us and is under Liam's control." Cole cringed every time the fire whip fell on Alex's back. He had worked with the boy on how to fight pain, but a fire-whip bit deep. There was pain from the cut and pain from the burns the whip left behind. "Damir gave Liam permission to leave with Richard, so Damir is at fault here." Cole fought the smile threatening to take the seriousness out of his words. The look on Damir's face held pure horror. The man realized Cole was throwing him literally to the wolves.
DAMIR start here with posting
Damir cleared his throat and then went back down on his knees in front of Markus. "I considered the fact I had two very strong wizards under my control. William was also here.... I know Richard is under Liam's control, I saw it... the two of them can be called back her quickly. Liam is trying very hard to live up to his heritage. The boy is taking great interest in having control over another wizard. He will not want to lose that control. I am only trying to do what is right, Alpha." Damir bowed his head, praying he had done right.
Damir turned his head to look at Marco and pointed, "I have brought you one of the people you asked for, a very important one. He was a member of the P.A.C.T., a very important member. If you would like Alpha, I can take him to the island and prepare him to answer any questions you want answered."
Damir glanced at Cole. He could handle Marco, but he didn't want to handle both men at the same time, although if he played the safety of each man off on the other, and kept them tied up tight, he might be able to take both. Damir let a slow smile turn up the corners of his mouth. He would love to be able to beat and torture Marco. He could show Markus he could be just as strong as any of the others in his family. "Please Alpha let me show you what I can do. I know these men."
ALEX
Markus listened to his step-son and nodded. Maybe it would be a good idea to see what Damir could accomplish with the men he thought he knew many years ago. His step-son Damir loved teaching the pups lessons. Maybe it was time to give him some extra responsibilities. Markus walked up to Alex. As the Enforcer whispered in Alex's ear, knowing the others could hear, he said, "Learn from this Shadow Hunter. You are a Clan pup on a very long leash. Your life's purpose is to be a Shadow Hunter and do the Alpha Enforcer's will. You do understand where you errored? Do I really need to have you fully retrained?"
Alex tried to hide the pain he was in. His back was on fire. He knew if he gave in his back would receive treatment. He had betrayed his oath as a Shadow Hunter by listening to those unworthy. He had thought these wizards could be trusted. Alex lowed his head as he pleaded, "Please, I meant no harm. I am sorry my lord Alpha for my error in judgment. I was only trying to save innocent students from the attack. I figured if those we sought gave themselves up or was tricked into doing so..."
Markus smiled and held up his hand. "That my boy now depends on what Damir can learn from this outcast of our clan. Once you are released, mind Damir's orders well or next time you might be facing the feeders instead." Markus reached up and removed the restraints on Alex's hands. The boy dropped to the floor and immediately crawled to in front of Damir and put his head to the dirty floor.
Markus then walked up to Damir. Once he was close, the Enforcer said, "Enjoy your reward. You have my permission to take Spellman to my private enclave. You can play with these two, but keep in mind what I require. Remember what Spellman is to become. He must be alive when you finish with him."
As Markus walked to the door he said almost as an afterthought, "As for Frank Cole, bring him or not... I care not. Either way, he will suffer knowing thanks to him...He and the Spellman's are Clan pets!" With that the Enforcer shut the door as he cruelly laughed.
DAMIR
Damir couldn't help but rub his hands together. He kicked Alex's head, not enough to do damage but enough for the boy to realize he should fear him. Reaching down, he grabbed a handful of hair and yanked Alex's head up enough the boy had to look into his eyes. "You have now learned your place, pup. If I tell you to do something I want it done immediately. For every second you fail me, I will punish you worse." Damir threw the boys head down hard enough that it hit the floor with a thud.
Damir walked up to Frank Cole. "Along time ago, you pretended to be my friend. Oh, I know you liked my twin better. For him you tolerated me, this I know. When I returned to the Clan home I found I could be more than tolerated. I could have power. I was put in charge of training the pups. Oh, I had the younger ones, but I was able to treat them exactly like I wanted to. I showed them what fear was and then showed them how they needed to act to not have the fear grabbing every second of their day. Alex will need to be retrained after you have had him, but it won't be hard." Damir chuckled. "I have won, Cole. You are about to loose a friend. When I am done with him, he will also bow to me as the others do." Damir gave Cole a hard right cross and a solid punch to his stomach.
Walking over to Marco he looked into the man's eyes. The eye's were steady, but the man could not hide the fear, pushed to the back. He reached up and grabbed his hair, pulling his head back as far as he could. With his other hand he rubbed Marco's throat. " I could kill you with just a simple squeeze. I could damage your vocal box so you would never be able to talk again. I could make a simple little hole right here," Damir touched a spot on Marco's corroded artery, "and watch you slowly bleed out. My Alpha has turned you over to me for training. You are going to discover just how weak you are, pup." Damir threw Marco's head forward.
He straightened up, smiled and said to the air, "Elf, I know you are here, I can feel your presence. Interfere with me and I will make sure at least one of the children die within the hour. You cannot protect all of them. I have left orders with others to do this, so holding me prisoner will do you no good. Now leave!"

Frank Cole tried to pull on his chains. There wasn't much he could say. It had been planned that Marco would end up hopefully going to the Clan island where he could act as a spy. They had been able to get a couple clan members to work with them, so Marco would have some support. it looked like Marco would be going to Markus' private island.
He looked at Alex. His heart went out to the boy. Alex had been so close to having the strength to pull away from the Clan. The boy was scared so he had retreated to the one place he knew he was reasonably safe, he had returned to the mind-set of a werewolf pup. As long as he followed what Damir said, Alex would not have to live in fear of being beaten every moment. He would be fed and even have some type of life. Cole was determined though to get back to the boy and pull him back. He would not let him out again until he was sure he was strong enough to fight the evil of the Werewolf Clan.
Cole dropped his head forward. He had not realized Damir had grown strong enough to be able to realize Darik was in the room. He knew he couldn't see Darik like he could, but Damir knew somehow the elf had stayed. Cole looked at Darik and nodded his head. He couldn't take the chance Damir would carry out what he was threatening. Cole watched as Darik vanished. Then he turned back to Damir.
MARCO
Marco yanked on his chains. Even though his mind was almost dragging him back to five years ago, he could not allow this traitor to realize just how much his mind feared. Trickster prayed he could still pull off the plan.
He gathered up the anger behind his voice as he said, "You will get no intel from me Traitor! You got nothing five years ago, you will get none now..." Marco deep down had always feared just what he had given them, for them to release him five years ago. He knew the wall he had once built to protect Neo from feeling the link was needed once again. He hoped Captain would understand as Marco once again tried to destroy the link.
Marco cringed. He had not known Darik was there but from the look on Cole's face it was not a good thing Markus was able to tell. Marco shivered as he felt the mind link he had with the other Quints crack. He looked at Cole, realizing the man had actually broken the link for him. The only reason Cap would do that, was if he was certain things were going to get nasty. Marco nodded one time to acknowledge the help. Now all he had to do was survive what was about to happen.
COLE
Cole had to cut the link of the Quints minds. He had been careful and only cut Marco off of the grid. He knew this would instantly cause at least two of the quints to start searching for Marco. Darik would keep them out of the Shack until either Damir left on his own, or left and took Marco with him.
Cole closed his eyes and connected the link between him and Marco. It took every bit of the amount of elfin blood flowing through his veins to make the link only between him and Marco. When they were done, he would get with Darik and have the elf connect to the link also. The link would allow them to know where Marco was, find him and even help him fight the mental and physical pain, Cole new his friend was going to experience. Marco knew it also. They needed information and Marco was in the best spot to be able to collect the information, through whatever he heard or saw.
The one thing which worried Cole was the fact, Marco was not headed to the Clan Home island but to Markus' island. It was somewhere they had not known about. He wondered how private the island was. Clan was usually not allowed to have living quarters off of the Clan Island.
Once the link was established, Cole thought, "I am here Marco. You are not alone. You are not lost." He received a glance from Marco that told him he had understood.
DAMIR
Damir chuckled when he saw Cole's chin drop to his chest. "I have more than a few surprises for you Frankie. You see I have been studying. There have been several very powerful werewolves who see me as being able to help them in the future and they are willing to teach me. Your little elfin friend cannot use his usually hiding tricks. I may not be strong enough to fight him, at the moment, but I am strong enough to know when he is around. Markus, has given me use of his island and that will include use of the small army he has on the island and the people he has working for him. So Frankie, you see, I have power now and I will enjoy showing you how much.
Damir only shook his head at the weak attempt of Marco to break his chains. He put his hand around Marco's neck, under his chin and pushed the man's head back. "You wouldn't be thinking about when you were being held five years ago, would you Marco? I can assure you, that will be remembered as a picnic when I am through with you." Damir pushed harder. "You will have no secrets. You will have no will power to keep information from me. You will volentarely tell me anything you know, just to stop the pain. You are mine." Damir took his hand away, and allowed Marco to speak.
"Ah, I can see the fear in your eyes, Marco. It is good that it is there. When I am done with you, you will bring me the Quints and you all will be working for me. You will want to work for me. You will need to work for me. Let's see. If I remember correctly, one of you is a female... her name was .... ah, yes Kat. I think I will make her my personal slave. She should be fun." Damir laughed as he roughly patted Marco's cheek.
"So are we ready to go?" Damir looked at Cole. "I think I will leave you here for the time being. I want you to know though, you try and rescue Marco here and I will make sure the pain he suffers before you get to him will be far beyond what I am planning on using to convince him he needs to work for me. I will make it a pain he will wish he could die from, but he will live long with it."
Damir grabbed Alex's hair and Marco's arm. "Say good-bye Marco. I'm taking you to your new home." With that Damir and Marco apparited out of the shack.

MARCO
Marco Spellman stared at Damir and started to fight his bonds, "You, I remember..." Before he could finish, Alex pressed his own spare wand into his neck saying, "Cou d'pointe"

DAMIR
Alex had waited as long as he could. He slowly got up and tried to play innocent. The fifteen year old went straight to Damir asking, “What do you mean cousin? What happened? I am sorry for blacking out...”
Damir shook his head. He slapped the boy accross the mouth, hard enough to leave a hand print on the boys cheek. "How dare you lie to me, I should...." Before he could finish his sentence, there was a flash.
... At that moment, a cloaked man that Alex knew and feared, “The Clan Enforcer, Markus MacIntosh” appeared. Alex immediately fell to his knees...
Damir was fascinated the way Alex quickly fell to his knees. One day he would have that respect from the people around him. People grudgingly knelt and bowed to him now, but there was always a look on their faces which said they did not fear him, and he wanted that fear.
Markus was thrilled on how quickly Shadow Hunter obeyed. He turned his focus on his step-son saying extremely disappointed, “Damir, only two? Where are the others? Also where is your nephew Liam? What is William Rikard doing here?”
"...What is William Rikard doing here?”
"... Liam is being held under tight security. ...The Doctor has been guarded almost as much. ..."
COLE
Alex heard Markus grab Fixer and whispered sweetly in the man’s ear, “Want your medicine pet? I brought it with me, you know. You remember what needs to happen for you to earn it? If you need a reminder we can always return to Stage 1?” ...
(Alex) felt the coldness of metal around his neck... Enforcer ... released a beaten down William Rikard. William crumbled to the floor. As the man started to get up, Markus ... whispered cruelly, “Now that we finally know our place pet! Go fetch Lance’s pretty little cousin...” Markus shoved William toward the door.
Alex watched as William stumbled out the door. He knew the man would not be allowed to return. Looking at his Uncle he watched the man take position of the fire-whip from the Enforcer.

He straightened up, smiled and said to the air, "Elf, I know you are here, I can feel your presence. Interfere with me and I will make sure at least one of the children die within the hour. You cannot protect all of them. I have left orders with others to do this, so holding me prisoner will do you no good. Now leave!"
Trickster prayed he could still pull off the plan.
... " I could kill you with just a simple squeeze. I could damage your vocal box so you would never be able to talk again. I could make a simple little hole right here... and watch you slowly bleed out. My Alpha has turned you over to me for training. You are going to discover just how weak you are, pup." ...
He straightened up, smiled and said to the air, "Elf, I know you are here, I can feel your presence. Interfere with me and I will make sure at least one of the children die within the hour. You cannot protect all of them. I have left orders with others to do this, so holding me prisoner will do you no good. Now leave!"
Now all he had to do was survive what was about to happen.

DAMIR
Cole dropped his head forward. ....
Marco yanked on his chains. Even though his mind was almost dragging him back to five years ago...
You are mine." Damir took his hand away, and allowed Marco to speak.
... Marco deep down had always feared just what he had given them, for them to release him five years ago. ...
