Family/History:
Ethan grew up in England with his parents, Charlotte and Daniel Linus. Though most of his family lived in England, his father's side of the family originated in France. Therefore, the Linus part of his family was obsessed with the country they came from, and that his why his mother reluctantly agreed to send him to Beauxbatons for his education instead of Hogwarts.
Ethan grew up in a nice neighborhood, living two houses down from the Potters, and their daughter, Lindsey. Ethan and Lindsey were the only two wizard children in the neighborhood, and they became friends and started playing with each other when both of them were around the age of three. They grew up to be the best of friends, and while other boys his age thought it was odd that he spent so much time with a girl, it never really bothered him.
Ethan was very sad when it became time for them to go to school. He would be going to France for his education while Lindsey would remain in England, receiving her education from England's top wizarding boarding school: Hogwarts. Both of them knew that it was going to be a lot different without constantly seeing each other, and it made both of them miss each other all the more. On their last night before they parted ways for the school term, Lindsey and Ethan shared an awkward kiss. As both of them were only eleven years old, they didn't really know how to describe these feelings and decided just not to acknowledge them. Both of them left for school with something unknown to them on their mind. His life changed drastically when he was twelve. The Potters had been murdered by Marsden's people, and Lindsey was sent to live somewhere else in the country. He lost his best friend after his first year of school.
Ethan received good marks during his days at Beauxbatons. He was one of the most popular boys in the whole palace, and attracted a lot of looks from the French girls that shared classes with him. He did go on several dates while he was at the school, but none of them ever developed into anything serious (he was unsure as to why).
He and Lindsey saw each other during summer holidays, though it was rare since they were no longer neighbors. He hasn't seen Lindsey since they both started their sixth-year in school, though they have occasionally corresponded through letters.
